We came here last year after living in and visiting Paciano for years. We come here on off nights and when in the mood for somethiing different. (GREAT SEAFOOD). We have come to love their Branzino, Swordfish and most of all their clams and spaghetti. The gnocchi and Norcia meat is great too. We also love the service and the desserts (Tiramisu)...Try it if you have a night free.

This town is truly stunning peppered with quality shops and restaurants. We were spoiled for choice, but settled for this restaurant & and were not disappointed! Everything about the restaurant spoke quality. This was one of the very few restaurants that Iâve had cheese fondue! Cured meats and bean Zuppa featured, but I settled for the Mozzarella di Bufala salad .

I was very eager to take my friends to Bruno's as well as not having been back myself for a few years. Located on a central street of Citta' della Pieve, it offers a lovely decor and ambiance (upstairs and downstairs dining rooms), very very good service and excellent Umbrian and Tuscan dishes. The service is excellent and staff very nice and helpful. The locale was completely restructured a few years ago with great taste and also keeping the original frescos on the ceilings in the upper rooms of what was originally a medieval house.

Great italian restaurant specialized in cooking fish and finest Tuscan cuisine . Very refined location. The staff Will make yourself at home
A real hidden gem. Simply outstanding!!! We loved it! It's tucked away in Chiusi, Tuscany but well worth finding. It felt like sitting by in a high-end restaurant in Florence or Rome. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and efficient. Don't use the menu, let them lay the meal out and match the wines for you. You will be very pleased.

We called at this Osteria for Pranzo just after we had arrived in C d L as it was close to where we were staying. First impressions were of a traditional small family owned restaurant with lots of pictures of the local area around the lake stretching back to the early 20th century. What followed was a meal where the ingredients spoke for themselves and were prepared simply and sympathetically by someone who obviously loves food. (like me) Roberto introduced himself at the end of the meal after I had commented on how good it was to his wife who serves up the food. We had quite a long chat about it although as our Italian is not that advanced we could not avoid the coccasional consult with Google translate. He explained about the rare breed pig (Cinta Sinese) he sources from the region of Siena inTuscany which has now been given DOP status. Forget bland, white (often dry) meat we have become used to when eating pork. This is completely different and delicious and a cross between Cingiale (Wild Boar ) and domestic pig. The animals are reared in the semi-wild and forage for sweet and bitter acorns, tubers and tuffles. The Starter platter of Prosciutto, Salami, Capo Collo all from this breed is outstanding and if served up by top London restaurants would probably cost a fortune We live in neighbouring Marche where salumi is also good but the rare breed of pork used here and the subtle use of fennel in Tuscan Salumi elevated it to something really special. The pork menu alone should make this place a must visit. Roberto also cooks lake fish, such as perch, persico and carp (the latter not really my cup of tea but , nevertheless well prepared and roasted with pork 'lardo' and fennel for those that DO like it) which we tried on or 2nd visit just before we returned home after our 4 day break.. I was surprised how quiet Trasimeno was (mid July) and even more surprised how quiet this restaurant was at lunchtime on a Friday. Given all of the above, the prices were modest and, this Osteria deserves a wider and bigger audience than it appears to have at the moment based on our two visits particularly with the produce on offer. Will certainly be back on our next visit. Cannot wait!Grazieeeee un saluto grande da Agnese,Roberto
