Toros Turkish Restaurant in Clifton is the original of this four location restaurant and our favorite. Authentic Turkish menu with all types of lamb, chicken, beef, seafood items. Full bar and valet parking on weekends make this a pleasurable go to place. Wonderful, friendly staff.

Very small, informal restaurant, but don't let that fool you - the food is outstanding. Doner done well is hard to find, at least that is my experience dining in the Boston to Washington DC corridor. Durum Doner gets it right. It's has excellent flavor, is not too fatty or grizzly, nor too dry. We also had the Adana Kebab, which was very good as well. Definitely start off with hummus appetizer. The owner served our table and she was ever so pleasant. Don't expect fancy, but do expect excellent food.

A cozy BYOB venue offering traditional Mediterranean cuisine, signature desserts & Turkish coffee in rustic surrounds. Cappadocia is a restaurant for food loving diners looking for unique experience, great atmosphere, new and delicious flavor of Mediterra
Visited 05/19/2018Mediterranean cuisine is probably our favorite, so we're always looking for a new restaurant to try. My wife found Cappadocia online and we gave it a try. We opted for a bunch of appetizers like their sheppard salad, the lebneh, hummus, tabbouli and one we've never tried or even seen before... warm hummus with sausage. These were all very good, nice portions and presentation. The warm hummus was interesting, but really only some hummus in a dish with some sliced sausage arranged on top and tossed under a grill for a little bit. (I'm assuming that's how they warm it up). Anyway, it was good, but they bump up the price to almost double, which seems a bit much for a few pieces of sausage and a warm-up. But... like I said, it was good and something we hadn't had before. We also shared a mixed grill plate. Nice portions (for 2) of lamb cubes and lamb patties, grilled chicken and beef all served with rice, onions and lettuce. The service was very fast and friend. The only criticism we had was the lighting. We feel the lighting could be turned down a little bit to help out the ambiance. We feel the music should be switched up to reflect the type of cuisine we were enjoying. Now I love classic rock and roll, but it just didn't fit in with Mediterranean dining... know what I mean? Another good thing... it is a BYOB!
