Our visit to Ayder was during Ramadan (June, 2016). Of the five days we spent in and year Ayder we ate at Eylul Cafe twice for lunch (the one of us not fasting) and once for dinner. All of the meals were delicious and nicely prepared. While Ramadan has kept crowds way down, Eylul was deservedly the busiest restaurant in town. Nearly all of our fellow diners were Turkish. The menu is not large but it is reasonably varied. Meats and some vegetables are cooked over an open wood fire in a small outbuilding. The baked custard (rice pudding) is exceptionally good.Pricing is moderate for Turkey; a true bargain if your measure of comparison is resort areas in the USA.

Two floors restaurant, indoor and outdoor tables arrangement is perfect for large group number. The location is breathtaking on the bank of Fartina river, you can't miss this restaurant on your way from or to Ayder. Parking is available too. The food is very delicious and fresh. Go for their famous Mahlama (Kuimak), river fish and Kufte. To be honest almost everything in the menu tastes really good.We have been served by Mustafa, an Iraqi waiter, who speaks Arabic, English and Turkish. His service was excellent and made our order much easier.Enjoy a meal here after finishing from river rafting the most popular activity in this area.

The road to this restaurant was winding and in awful shape, lots of ditches and holes. But the view from the top was spectacular and the food was good. They brought several pans for our group of 10, which was a good social experience.

It is one of the most famous spot in Turkish Black Sea Coast. It is situated in Cayeli-Rize. Kuru fasulye (beans) is the best in the world. Also rice avd kavurma should been tried. Together with yoghurt and pickles of course. It is a typical Turkish taste which will be unforgottable and special to area...Definitely a must....

The taste is really good here. You should try the special meal with special beans cooked in a special way. There are also other good regular choices for local and Turkish food.

Incredible, personable service; absolutely delicious food. A perfect selection of quality, authentic Turkish food from the Black Sea region. The chef kindly welcomed us to the kitchen, gave us tastes of the food, made a plate right away, and gave us a delicious serving of meat on the house. HIGHLY recommend!! A must if you are in Rize or anywhere close to it!
