On 29 September 2019, 3 friends descended on this lovely restaurant tucked away in Highbury Park at short notice. Ali, our host, welcomed us with open arms into the warm friendly atmosphere. We were able to choose a number of courses to share. The food was really good and the wines complimented the dinner. In particular, the House Red Wine: Shiraz-Merlot-kalecik-Bogazkere from Denzil, Turkey, was splendid. Thanks Ali, for a wonderful night.

I just wanted to say a big 'thank you' to Midpoint Restaurant for making my birthday experience so amazing last night! The food was exquisite and the service was extremely efficient, attentive and personable. The singing of ' Happy Birthday' with a tambourine and chorus with the staff was just incredible. It all contributed to the warm, jovial yet tranquil ambience. The location was also a bonus with the dazzling skyline backdrop of the O2 and Canary Wharf buildings - which you could feast your eyes upon whilst tucking into the fresh and succulent taste of their phenomenal mixed shish kebab dish ( and other tasty dishes!)Nothing was too much for the staff for our group booking of 16 guests! Always there with a smile - especially the waitress which we had. Absolutely brilliant! She added to the whole memorable birthday experience! Thank you.Thank You Midpoint Restaurant!Dear Jadavs1078, Firstly, thank you very much for choosing to celebrate your birthday with us! Limanâs menu features dishes from the âFertile Crescentâ to the Levant, which have passed the long test of history, faithful to the hearths of old while also embracing the soil and life of their new land, with ingredients acquired fresh daily. But some vi
My wife and I eat Turkish food wherever possible in the world! Itâs one of our top two cuisines of choice. We found the Liman restaurant through TA and made a same day booking on a Sunday. The restaurant was very busy, but we were seated straight away. The service from the joint (lady) owner was impeccable - with this young lady proudly telling us that she ran front of house, whilst her husband ran the kitchen. An open kitchen is always a good sign and the food that came out of it was superb. From the tara and fritter starters, to the lamb shish, to the yogurt sauced chicken kebab with croutons - everything was delicious and simply the best Turkish meal that we have tasted. Look no further - get booking!

The Cirrik is a famous bird found in the South East of Turkey, renowned for itâs unique, delicate taste. It's a specialty of Ocakbasi barbeque restaurants in the district of Adana. During spring time, bird hunters would come from all around to catch thems
Visited here before a concert at EartH, which is a great addition to the London gig scene by the way! Just wanted a quick meal so went straight to mains and to be honest was pretty glad that I didn't go for anything more, as the portions were substantial and very filling. I went for an Et Beyti (minced lamb flavoured with garlic and herbs), which was cooked to perfection on the charcoal grill. My friend had the Karniyarik (lamb stuffed aubergine) which he said was excellent. Both dishes were served with warm, buttery flatbread, a delicious rice and 3 different salads which whilst all simple, were tasty and perfect accompaniments. The service was unobtrusive but friendly and efficient, so no complaints there. A beer and a diet coke with the food and the bill came in at just over £15 a head, so excellent value. If back this way I would definitely return.
