Wow, still amazing - a magical place - although a simple "buffet". One of the best restaurants I have eaten in. Ever. Go. Best to order as many different things as possible. EVERY dish is fantastic. Open every day except for saturday, but only until 5pm. Best to go for early lunch - dishes run out!

If you are OK to eat different parts of the lamb, you should definitely try "kokorec" for sure. It is also one of the meals Turkish and Greek cuisine has in common. Asım Usta is one of the well known places in Turkey, and it is the best. First of all, in Istanbul they added tomato and peppers but this is not the original way of preparing kokorec. You should only add some spices and herbs and get the real taste. Chef Eyup knows what he's doing and prepares great portions you should meet him in person as well.

I'll share my opinions in two parts, First is about the location and the ambiance, The restaurant located in one of the best place in İzmir , Uckuyular Ferry port. You have your meal like you're on the sea . The ambiance; first the smell of the sea take place in your nose, than the sunset on the Aegean&Karsıyaka appears in your eyes and fnally seagulls and ferries at your ears. Perfect match for a seaside :)Second Part,The food;Starters, as usual in Izmir fresh green stuff which unique for Aegean part of Turkey, very delicious as expected. Than hot appetizers, perfect match is grilled calamari and octopus on skewers, delicious is not the word that can describe the taste. During the summer the best is red mullet I prefer fried but grilled also be tasteful.Desert? I don't have big stomatch , this time I did not tried(What a shame)There are a lots of variants for food but those that I listed above my favorites. In addition, service quality maybe the best in Izmir. If you will be in Izmir , have dinner here at least one night. You won't be sorry for it.

Gozlemecim is tucked away in a tiny alley just off Kemeralti in Izmir. The menu offers 700 different filling options for gozleme, and there is a useful English translation at the front of the menu. We took our waiter's advice and shared a savoury gozleme with a cheese, herb and mushroom filling. It was promptly prepared and beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. We opted for a shared chocolate and banana gozleme. It was out of this world!! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant... very reasonably priced with exceptional service and delicious food.
