After having some time at the mall, it was now time to have some break and so wr headed to Turkish kunefe store. Ordered some plates with mixed sweets and some kunefe which was delicious and tasty. We liked this place very much. Highly recommended.

I had a Turkish lunch at Kosebasi. It is a Turkish Anatolian grill at Arabella (sea side). My waitress, Melanie was helpful and smiley. The menu was very tempting. I have read about a specialty of kosebasi. It is called, Kuzu sac tava. It is sautéed marinated lamb meat in a traditional copper plate called sac tava, with chopped garlic, tomatoes, and capsicum, served on light flames. Melted cheese was added on top for the full flavor. You could have a one person serving and a family size portion. The diced lamb was relatively soft and the capsicum was well cooked. I had Aryan with mint. Aryan is yogurt drink. My dessert was the ever favorite, meghli. It is Caraway spice rice pudding. The Rice pudding with cinnamon is garnished with shredded coconut and nuts. The dessert was beautifully aromatic with raisins. My only comment was that the walnut pieces were stale. The meghli was tasty and cool. This dessert was not too sweet and it is a healthy dessert. Melanie recommended trying the Turkish tea; the Turks prefer to drink tea in small tulip-shaped glasses with heavy base. The glass is 125 ml. SEE photos of food and exterior.
Where to eat Indian food in Farwaniya: The Best Restaurants and Bars
This review pertains to the Big Chefs at the Avenues phase 4 gardens section. The location and decor are amazing, unfortunately only 5 tables were served outside despite having tens of them most probably they have staff shortage. The breakfast was good but has lots of rooms for improvements for example we asked for the boiled eggs to be medium the waitress told us they only have hard boiled eggs because they boil in bulks!!!!! As for the fried eggs despite asking for medium we got them well cooked. It might not be important for them but if a customer can't choose the way the food is cooked they should not expect a good review. Staff are friendly and helpful. Overall recommended for selected items (The Turkish breakfast package:tray of small plates i.e.Labneh,cheese, honey, jam, butter etc...with bread baskets varieties , orange for 2 and tea for 2 for KD 8.500 at the time of the review)
