The restaurant is 3-4 minutes walking from the S-bahn and bus station Fasanenpark (Munich suburb), it is nothing fancy or extraordinary in any sense, but also not expensive (daily menu already from 6e). The stuff is kind and communicative but not that quick. The restaurant seems to be family-owned. The food is tasteful, although a bit oily. The dish to recommend would be the sweet-sour chicken, but the duck seems so to be very popular among regular guests.

Two of us ate lunch here one Friday.Choice of four dishes plus soup or vegetarian springrolls on the lunch time special. Cant comment on the normal menu as we werent offered it. There is also a lunchtime Sushi menu (rolls only), whitch we didnt try this time.Service good, meals obviously cooked to order judging from the sounds from the kitchen.Soup was fairly authentic Tom Kha Gai (coconut milk soup with chicken). Portions are generous but main course (stir fried beef with vegetables) was drowned in dark soya sauce (which is not usually used very much in Thai cooking.....) which overpowered the taste of everything else completely.Would not recommend as the place for authentic Thai cuisine, but this is hard to find in Europe anyway. Might come back for the cocktails (extensive menu) in the evening, but wouldnt bother with the food again.

Easily the best Asian food I have had for a long time, it is authentic, entirely natural, has meat from great origins [so you can eat with good conscience] and the flavours are wonderful. I could eat this every night of the week, easily!! I really can't recommend it highly enough. Even the staff are great! They were wonderful to our [young, loud] kids and that makes so much difference. The pork dish I like is cooked over charcoal and it tastes so smoky and tender, and the spicy beef is so soft and flavoursome. Really, go and eat there, the interior is great, the food is great and the staff are great. 100% recommend it!

Thai, vietnamese and chinese flavor & philosophy will be refined and combined with european art of cuisine. That's concept of Variety Box. Enjoy our interpretation of far eastern cuisine in the city of Munich.
Had a good meal here. We were the only guests apart from the owners and their friends. Service is first class. The serving staff capable and helpful. The food was well prepared and presented. The decor is a little too white and cold. Not my taste but possibly fine for others. It is a tad pricey for a "normal" restaurant. It was recently opened and may settle down and get a flair of its own in time.
