We went last night with a couple of friends. Such a waste of night! It just ruined the whole get together that we were looking forward to. The service was terrible! From the moment we arrived we felt unwelcome. We arrived at 1930 (0730pm) and we were showed the time that we much leave by 2100 (0900pm). She rushed us to order and even chose food for us. I don't know what it is because she wanted to get rid of some already cooked food?! Food was below average for Thai cuisine, which is usually tasty and flavoursome. Thai hospitality is world known but was of non existent in this restaurant! Wouldn't go back ever and strongly recommend others to go somewhere else. Worse service I have ever come across!

Amazing food but extremely expensive wuth small containers they call "large"Lunch deals seem better than dinner. Eg: $7.90 for 4 spring rolls !

I am allergic to nuts so was very worried as most Thai dishes contain nuts but staff made me very welcome and accommodated my requests, even packing nuts for my partner in a sealed container and separate bag. Ordered takeaway and waited no more than 10-15 mins for it to be cooked fresh and tasted great. Will definitely go back.

I have recently submitted a review of Thai Thani 2 restaurant in Tauranga, New Zealand. Coincidentally, the location of Bountiful Thai restaurant in Townsville is very similar to the one in Tauranga. Bountiful Thai is located on Gregory St, which is a minute walk from the popular The Strand which runs along the seaside. It appears to be a family business with the wife taking orders, the husband working in the kitchen with the help of another assistant. I had Pad Thai and Tom Yum soup - the same dishes I have in Tauranga. The dishes was good (although not as good as Thai Thani 2 Tauranga). The plus side is one doesnât have to go to New Zealand .

A family favourite restaurant but this time we felt the food quality has dropped a bit. Wondering if there are new owners or chef. Crying tiger was a bit tough and somehow not right with flavours. The curries were tasty, and I know Thai food has a lot of broth/gravy however we felt they lacked meats this time. Staff were friendly, helpful with a food allergy and attentive. Food was served within a reasonable time. Itâs easy to get a park on the street out the front.

Enjoyed a lovely dinner here. The food choices we made were all tasty and everyone enjoyed the meal. Was under $110 for 2 shared entrees, 4 shared mains and coconut rice plus one drink and BYO, which we thought was very reasonable (that included an entertainment book discount). It is licensed and also BYO.The manager/owner was the happiest man we have come across, with a permanent smile on his face and he laughed a lot !! Only concern we had at Thai International was at the end of our meal we noticed that the wall beside our table was covered in thick dust, presumably from the ceiling air conditioning vent overhead. Definitely needs the walls washed down urgently. Would have rated the restaurant an extra star except for the dirty wall. Other than that though, an enjoyable night out.

We dined here a few months ago and were very impressed by the service and food. Our waiter, Ben, deserves a special mention - very friendly and efficient - when he wasn't waiting on tables, he was folding serviettes and finding things to do to keep busy. The Massaman curry was amazing, as well as everything else we ordered. Thank you for a lovely dining experience.

Thai Smile House is a relaxed centrally located Thai restaurant and take-away, right beside the Warrina Cinemas on Bayswater Road, in front of OTTO's Arcade. Priding ourselves on serving authentic Thai cuisine, we strive to deliver the best dining experie
We've now been to Thai Smile on two occasions and each time we've come away incredibly impressed. Not only is the food delicious, fresh and well presented, it comes at a budget price. Also impressed by the staff - always so friendly and helpful and also great to see some young kids being given a chance. Their young crew, whilst a little inexperienced and uncertain, remain friendly and polite and ever willing to help out and check on things. To be honest, given the quality and price, I'm surprised they're not packed out every time we visit. #DoYourselfAFavour!!!Hi Mark,Very humbled by your review. Some of our staff are young and learning, but feedback such as this encourages them to rise further. i will share this with our staff.Food wise, we aim to provide an authentic Thai experience, at a price that is affordable in the current economic environment. WOM (Word of mouth) and YELP (yell out loud people) is our best advertising we can afford, so we do encourage gossip about us. We hope to see you again soon. Cheers,Thai with a smile.

Dropped in here for takeaway with 4 people and grabbed half a dozen mixed entrees and mains and cannot fault the flavours within these meals. Love the Precint store as well and was great to see the same flavours within both stores...

The first Lao and Thai Restaurant in Townsville. Blending the fresh, zesty flavors of Laos with the classic sweet and sour flavors of Thailand.
Nice decor and very friendly service. Perfect starter in the Spiced Chicken Sausages....beautifully presented and great flavour. Unfortunately the mains were very bland....hard to tell which was which as even the ginger dish lacked and distinct flavour. The chicken in both mains was on the dry side which is unusual in a stir fry.
