Since we were last here, the food and service have deteriorated somewhat. The wait person did not completely listen to what we wanted and was not attentive during the meal. The soup was very good, although lacking in the requested tofu. I asked for an order of summer rolls (fresh veggies wrapped in rice paper) for an entree and received it right away. They were good, though. My wife's seafood combo, she said, was just average - not very tasty. Our friend's chicken and veggie dish, he said, was very good.

Would recommend avoiding the buffet and order from the menu. The buffet looked more like a Chinese restaurant buffet than a Thai restaurant offering.Everything we had was wonderful.....chicken pad Thai, Moo-Sarong, lime shrimp and #19 one-bite noodle.Prices are very fair and service was good.

The Elephant Thai Cuisine sustained a fire at its location at its former location (5348 W. Devon Ave.) and the same owners moved directly across the street and re-opened their restaurant with improvements. The interior of their new location at 5353 W. Devon Ave. looks great with a contemporary or modern Thai look. The service was as good as it had been. We first ordered a side cucumber salad. We then chose the special box A which included an egg roll and two pot stickers, along with Thai chicken basil and rice. Our other entree was garlic chicken. Both were really good. The prices are still reasonable. We were glad to see that they re-opened after the fire.
