Serving authentic Laotian and Thai Cuisine
Tiny restaurant - best to go in the summer when the porch overlooking the harbor is open. We were very surprised to experience some good Asian food in this little seacoast town. The kitchen is small - so don't expect fast-food service. That said, our waitress was pleasant, helpful on menu choices and brought our drink order promptly. We have been here several times before and, in the summer, we will definitely return.

If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. Ok, here goes: lovely view of the harbor. That's it. The chicken in my Chicken Mango tasted like, and had the texture of, processed chicken food used in cheap frozen fried chicken. (The Mango Sauce wasn't bad, though). The menu was unclear on several fronts, they were out of one of three kinds of rice at 5 pm on a Saturday night, and the server was completely unapologetic. We told her we were on a tight time schedule and needed to get our order in quickly. She disappeared for over 10 minutes (were were one of three tables occupied in the restaurant) and when my husband went to see if he could persuade her back to our table so we could order, found her leaning on the window into the kitchen, chatting with the kitchen staff. Save your money, don't go.

In February, the service was slow and the place was freezing inside. Now, in July, the service is very good and the food fresh and generally well prepared. The soup is too salty though.Prices are very reasonable and the portions decent. For example, the Pad Thai is $11 and the spring rolls are $5.50.
I had a wonderful red snapper and my friend had a lovely seafood curry. The service was great, the food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. There wasn't many cars in the yard and we were hesitant about trying this restaurant but we have decided to try a new place every two weeks so we did. So very glad!
Where to eat American food in Searsport: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Very popular place for YEARS! Four of us stopped for dinner. Service was very slow although the restaurant was only half full. They do a huge take out business, but still, someone should be taking my drink order within a few minutes- not 20 minutes, AFTER we bugged someone. The food was slow to arrive as well. However, the food was EXCELLENT. We ordered four different dishes to share and every one was excellent, large portion, well prepared.
