It’s been 200 years or so since he lived here, but Mozart is still very much Salzburg’s favorite son. Visit the composer’s residence and birthplace, then explore the Altstadt (Old City), taking in the baroque architecture. Had we not been with friends from Salzburg who were taking us to a specific store in the Europark Salzburg mall and knew of this restaurant, we would never have eaten there. At 2:30pm on a beautiful Friday afternoon, Yaoyao was obviously known to the locals and apparently quite popular as it was packed. From start to finish, the service was friendly, prompt and efficient. It was entertaining to watch the staff scurrying about. It appeared that any server could access our orders on their electronic pads to add/delete/change, so anyone was able to help us at any time. The variety of asian food offerings which included Chinese, Japanese, Thai and Vietnamese was impressive. There was something asian for most every palate. I had a Chinese noodle dish but our group of five also tried Thai and Japanese. It was all delicious. The only downside was that their meal portions were not overly generous, and most of us could have eaten a bit more.Dear guest! Thanks a lot for you Feedback about our dishes and service! Really appreciate it! See you soon at Yaoyao

Our highlights are flat iron steak from our lava grill, Thai delights cooked with original recipes, fresh fish,... large sunterrace overlooking the lake and mountains, probably the longest sunset of Salzburg. Enjoy your sundowner - your choice of craft be
We visited this restaurant as the one next door took a big Christmas party booking and referred us to Marchharts instead. We found the welcome warm and the service very good. The mixed starter to share was delicious and the mains (we chose Thai) were very nice, and filling. They also have a neat little self service gin bar which I took avail of. I remain disappointed that we didnât get to the original place and Iâm not sure if Iâd go back.

A lovely quirky lithe almost Street food type of restaurant. The food here is delicious and well worth a visit. The owner is a touch brusque, but don't mind her the service is efficient.

Before dining do note that the restaurant is very small in size (able to fit approximately 7 customers at one time), hence making it an unsuitable place for anyone whoâs hoping to come with a larger crowd. The food here is so-so, we tried the tomyum soup, Thai chicken fried rice, kimchi soup and bibimbap. Out of the four dishes, the fried rice tasted the best. However, the tomyum soup is not recommended. We thought the restaurant would be owned by Koreans but the server and chef there seems to be Chinese. Our observation shows that majority of the customers that dine in Kim 168 are Koreans. Make sure to drop by before 6:30pm in the weekends cause there may be a long queue.
