We were hungry and new in town. Late lunch and the entire experience was outstanding! Soup and appetizers meant that we left with doggy bags. Great food and excellent service (we were the last table for the meal). Met the owner and got out of there for $50 (excluding a nice tip). 3 happy, adult males who were ready to chow down. We'll be back!Set a high bar for us new locals.

Siam Spice is located on Commerce Street with a back door accessing ample parking behind, and street parking in front of the store-front eatery. The interior is bright and not crowded with tables and chairs. Itâs on the street level, with no steps, and lots of floor space for a maneuvering a wheelchair, walker, or stroller. We chose to eat closest to the big windows adjacent to the sidewalk. The menu is not huge, but had several curry dishes that I have always enjoyed at other Thai restaurants. The lunch servings were large enough for both of us to take leftovers home. My friendâs Pad Thai was generously sprinkled with chopped peanuts, and loaded with tender chicken. My chicken and vegetables curry dish was seasoned perfectly like I requested...medium hot. This was my first time, and I look forward to my next visit.
My lunch choice was a classic. Pad Thai. Since this was my first time eating their food, I chose a dish which is a staple at a majority of Thai eateries, and used it as a gauge for comparing Momo Thai with other Thai restaurants. Get this right, and Iâll be back to try other menu items. Well, Iâm very pleased.Although my PT was a bit sweeter than what Iâve eaten in other Thai restaurants, after two bites I was tucking into it. There was a generous amount of chicken mixed into the noodles, so you got a piece in every bite. It also contained grated carrot, tiny bits of stir-fried egg, purple cabbage, and crunchy bean sprouts, plus a lime quarter, and ground peanuts on the side for the diner to add, or not.I canât review any servers because I took this to-go, however the owner/manager? couldnât have been friendlier or more gracious. The interior was neat and clean from what I could see just next to the cashier station.Iâm looking forward to my next visit so I can sit and eat, and try another dish.
