We were recommended Thai Bistro by some friends who live part of the year in Thailand and know what good Thai food tastes like! We were not disappointed. The main courses were exceptional. We over-ordered as we didn't realise portion sizes were so large - but would definitely recommend the dishes we had: Pad Thai, Chicken with Chilli & Basil, John Dory in curry sauce. The starters of 'money bags' and chicken satay were delicious. The setting of the restaurant is also really nice - it is tucked away in Valverde, just off the Q roundabout at Quinta do Lago, and with the choice of inside or alfresco dining it can accomodate all weathers. If you're wearing shorts we would recommend taking something to sit on, as the seat cushions are plastic and not very comfortable!The downside of the evening was the service - we waited over an hour for our starter but as this was our first time we can't tell if that is normal or not. Definitely worth a visit.

After living for 10 years in the Algarve I really find the best place to have a cocktail, or a really good meal... excellent costumer service, snacks and meals with amazing quality and cocktails done perfectly!!! So worth to try...And a breathtaking view by the pool, good music...

Usually a little concerned when visiting a pan Asian restaurant as the finer details of each cuisine invariably makes all the difference. Was pleasantly surprised that all of the dishes were of above average quality from Thai Curry, Nasi Goreng to Cantonese classics.Well worth a visit to sate all appetites
