Find out what Thai restaurants to try in Ober-Ramstadt including Thai Paradies, Ban Thai, Su-Chin
Wir genieÃen bereits seit Jahren das Essen hier. Es wird sehr gut gekocht und alles was wir in den Jahren dort gegessen haben, war toll.

It's edible, but a joy it isn't. The portions are huge, if that's what you like. The dishes aren't good, however. The curries are to be avoided - just milky mess, rather than the cleverly made Thai style where the coconut oil separates out. If you must eat here, go simple, so a stir-fry.

I will never recommend this place to anyone. Ever. I only went there because of the good reviews here, so I fell that I have the moral obligation to leave a honest review. I was there with my wife on the evening of May, 9th of 2015.To be fair, the food was good. We have no complains regarding the food. The miso soup was better than average, and the sushi was tasty and fresh.I was really hungry, and my wife was too. That hunger turned into disappointment when we saw the small portion sizes -- the sushi rolls were really minuscule, we don't know about the other kinds of dishes, but sushi portions, even the large ones, were much smaller than they appeared in the menu. Maybe they are enough if you are a broken hipster in your early 20's looking for a quick snack, but if you are a grown up looking for a real meal on a Saturday night with your lady, then you are in for a disappointment. My reservation was for 20:00 (8 pm) and we arrived in a timely manner, as always. The waitresses were nice and took care of our orders pretty quickly. Drinks and first course were quickly served. Main courses, however, took FOREVER. We were served our main courses ca. 21:10, exactly one hour after ordering them. Since it took forever for this order to come through we didn't even thought of ordering more. In the end we left hungry and headed to the supermarket that neighbors the place (Rewe) to get some food to eat at home.Another negative point was that it was quite crowded and the tables are too close together. It felt like having dinner with complete strangers at your table. If you know Germans then you know they like to stare. "Stare the foreigner" is practically a national sport in Germany. I don't usually mind this in public transportation and such, but during a meal that was supposed to be leisure time with my wife this was particularly distressing. Of course this restaurant bears no responsibility with respect to German culture and way of life, but the close proximity of tables made that particularly annoying German trait worse.Overall, terrible experience. As I said, I don't recommend this place to anyone.
