Things to do in Melton
In a quiet back street just off the main street is this old restaurant that is now Shivaporn Thai.Shivaporn is either takeaway or a licensed eat in upstairs run by the family - wife cooks husband is bar/wait staff. I was there early on a quiet Sunday night with my family - we received a friendly welcome with drinks order and some nibbles to keep the young ones happy - very important!!Remembering that no staff on fast service was not expected however the food kept coming at an appropriate rate - the food was well presented and high qualty! Nothing fancy - although the barramundi was particularly good! Overall a good experience and a pleasure to have visited Shivaporn Thai
Small, personal restaurant. Take away was busy. Good atmosphere, helpful staff, reasonably priced. The special fried rice with beef is the best fried rice Iâve ever had! Absolutely delicious! Definitely going back to this restaurant.
Visited Nom Thai Restaurant in the back street of Melton and have to say it was one of the best Thai meals l have had in a long time. Itâs a very unassuming restaurant, not your fancy decor but hey who cares, it was clean, comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly. If you love a great taste fest, visit Nom and have a great meal! If you love prawns you have to have the prawn curry stir fry! Absolutely delicious as were all the other meals myself and family had. There wasnât one complaint and all plates were empty!
Six of us visited Centre Thai for dinner and we all enjoyed our meals. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the restaurant was nicely decorated, clean and new. Aside from the pleasing environment, the food was very nice indeed. The main meals were very large portions. Both entrees and mains were fresh and delicious. Having eaten many poor Thai meals in Australia over the years, it was great to find Centre Thai serving tasty and authentic Thai food. We will be back and happy to recommend to others.
A sizable charming Thai restaurant located by the lake in Caroline Springs. It is open 7 nights for dinner, and Wednesday to Sunday for lunch. A memorable venue for a relaxing dinning with a full range of delicious Thai food, a nice ambiance, a beautiful
Had dinner here last night with my partner and my brother. The restaurant has a great ambiance, staff was very friendly and welcoming. We ordered two dishes from the chef speciality, the mango chicken and the secret beef steak. Also ordered the fish with 3 flavours. All the food came at once which was good as we were sharing. When the mango chicken arrived, we were like wow, itâs big but was disappointed by the amount of chicken in there. The chicken were deep fried in a tempura batter and only a few pieces and the plate were topped up with tempura vegetables and lots of it. So a bit more chicken would have been nice. Secret steak was cooked very well and so was the fish dish. Again with the fish, it was a small amount of fish and plate topped up with lots of mixed leaves which didnât get eaten. Overall it was a good experience at this restaurant. Will I go back? Yes.. i would give 5 star if the amount of meat to vegetables were more balanced.

Another birthday celebrated at Melbourne's best Thai restaurant. We've been going to Pad Thai since they opened, and every birthday and anniversary is celebrated there. The food is as good as any i've had anywhere, including Thailand, and Pat is an awesome host. Very funny guy is Pat. For those celebrating a special occasion, Pat always gives his guest/s a gift, which is a great little touch. Thanks Pat !!!

Had the banquet for 4 people last time and we had to take the proverbial "doggy bag" home.Food is excellent and service always good. We always see a huge number of takeaways being picked up and this shows the quality of the food. Pricing is very reasonable to top it off. This place is a definite winner.

Caroline Spring is a suburb of Melbourne and even though it is relatively only 25mins from Melbourne CBD, this area is more like a residential area so not much of restaurants available. But Caroline Thai is a decent Thai Restaurant, especially in Caroline Spring.I came here solo and order their Caroline Mix BBQ Combo. The food was good so that I decided that I want to order some more but apparently the 2 staff serving were to busy either serving or taking order, payment or something else. Thatâs the lack of it, but the rest is good.
