With cuisine and a place thatâs truly Thai at heart mixed with the geniality and gracious hospitality, the revamped version of Benjarong is the newest, most exciting authentic Thai dining hotspot to rediscover in Manila.
One of the best thai restaurant in Metro Manila, food is true to thai flavors. We ordered chicken pandan, tom yum goong, thai shrimp cake, sea bass with tamarind sauce, papaya salad was made fresh table side. Chicken pandan is crispy and still juicy. Flavor of the food is well balanced, not too sweet or salty like some other thai resto. Our server Ken was very attentive and provided excellent service. Will definitely come back again.

If you can manage to avoid the overpowering, nauseating, toxic fumes and odors of killed / dead animals being cooked in the open, this a an average market to walk through. Try to go from the back side and you will bypass all the toxic stuff and be in the relatively 'healthy' part of the market with fresh juices, detoxes and some vegan / vegetarian items as well. Shopping is not all that interesting here. The prices for the fresh stuff is a bit on the higher side for Phillippines.
