Off we were to stop with friends in Redlands on our trip thru to points east. We went for dinner at MU and were way beyond pleasantly suprised. This place is fabulous. Only a medium sized restaurant, it seemed to get very full with lots of waiting as the prime dinner hour came nearer. Luckily we are early eaters and got seated wtih a very short wait. The place is quit modern and well appointed. The service was reasonable considering all the action and the tight quarters. The staff, from the greeter, to the waiter, and others was always kind and engaging. The spring rolls were so fresh and crunchy. The sauce I could eat with a spoon. Yum Yum. My pineapple fried rice, which is always a favorite 'test' dish for me at a new restaurant was done well. The chef has his own little twists and they were all good for me. Would I return? You bet. There are so many choices on the menu and only so much space in my tummy! Another trip to Redlands is in order!

We dined for the first time yesterday but my mom wanted to go back for more today! We had Garlic string beans, Panang fish, & Drunken noodles with chicken. Everything tasted so fantastic I was tempted to lick the plates clean. We will definitely be back for more!
My wife and I have eaten here or had takeout at least a half dozen times.Eating at the restaurant the food is delicious, the service is great, and the ambiance is nice for a casual to semi-formal date.My experiences with take out has not been pleasant. More than once we have had a messed up order which was fixed but the person who messed it up didn't apologize. The worst experience we had was takeout which when we opened the food at home we discovered inedible, burnt noodles (pad sii yew) and a rotten mango for our mango sticky rice.Bottom line: Eat in, but don't bother with take out.
Dinner a little slow; lunch a few days later was quite rapid. Good food, typical Thai restaurant really. I don't recall them asking how hot you want your food which IMHO is actually a good thing: you get it the way it's supposed to be cooked.

I stopped in looking for a quick vegetarian lunch. I got the drunken noodles with extra vegetables, one of my favorite Thai dishes. The restaurant is small, but the service was fast. It was a relatively warm day and the window air conditioner was not pointed in my direction and I got a little warm, so I would think twice about going on a real hot day. But the food was nicely seasoned, was a good portion, reasonably priced and I will consider going back.

Wonderful Thai food - many choices and they list some of the areas in Thailand that the food originates from. The staff is very friendly and attentive and knows their menu and are more than willing to suggest some of their favorites.I had the Drunken Noodles with chicken - I wanted to order it hot,but my waitress suggested I try medium (I agreed, but I think I could have gone hot - I asked for some of their Thai peppers in fish sauce to add). My daughter had the Gang Thong (Thai pumpkin) with chicken & coconut milk, in mild - she can't take heat like me...lol Both meals were cooked perfect and very tasty, although I woulh have like to see move veggies in the pumpkin dish. They offer...mild, medium, hot, Thai hot & blow up hot choices for all their meals.I will definately go back next time I'm in the area - would love to try more of that menu, wish they were closer to home, I would become regular.Note: They are diectly around the corner from Escape Craft Brew Company, order some Thai, take it with you to the brewery and enjoy some great brews

Benjarong Thai is a great place to have lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is wonderful and provides an indoor or outdoor option for seating. The bar area is very well maintained and provides a wide variety of beer and spirits. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is very courteous and helpful.
