The municipality comprises the towns of Heist-aan-Zee, Knokke, Duinbergen, Ramskapelle and Westkapelle. On January 1, 2006 Knokke-Heist had a total population of 34,063. The total area is 56.44 km² which gives a population density of 603 inhabitants per km². Knokke-Heist is located along the North Sea in a polder area on the Belgian border with the Netherlands. It is Belgium’s best-known and most affluent seaside resort.

Having travelled several times to Thailand and sampled some excellent dishes there, I was very excited to visit this much talked about restaurant recently. ...And I was not dissappointed! The quality of the different dishes is first rate, yes probably slightly adapted to Belgian taste , but still very much full of flavours of the original country! We were happy to be guided by the chef and discovered some signature dishes freshly prepared. We choose for 3 different dishes, served with rice and could not get enough! One negative (not the food!! ) : as the place is always fully booked (make your reservation in time!! ) the noise level is slightly overwhelming at times...

Last night treat after a week in Knokke, and we love Asian food. Restaurant does not look too inviting from the street but it improves on entering the premises.Staff are very welcoming, friendly and attentive.We were a little early but there was no rush to order after ordering pre dinner drinks. Food was excellent and portions generous, be careful when ordering not to order the same sort of quantities as in England.Will return when in Knokke and am sure anyone else visiting will enjoy the place.Thanks for ur visit

We have been to Thailand and loved the food. So we are always happy to find a restaurant which serves Thai food. And although the first impression from the street is perhaps a bit "strange" (you enter the restaurant after a second door) this is really a very good Thai restaurant where Thai food is served as if you were in Thailand again. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere, people are always very friendly and prices are very reasonable. We have eaten here several times now and never have been disappointed. Highly recommended!!

Knokke turns into Thai heaven! Delicious and authentic food served in a nice cadre... Being used to real Asian food from London we ordered a couple of very nice preparations. Great flavours!!
