Things to do in Khao Kho
The cafe is off the main road, about a 5 minute drive up the hills. So itâs not exactly off the beaten track but easily accessible by car and yet not overrun by tourists.Perched on a hill, the cafe offers splendid unblocked views of the Khao Kho countryside. The wind farm can be seen in the distance. Lovely place to chill, and capture some instagrammable moments.Price wise itâs not the cheapest you would find around these parts, but not exorbitant either and reasonable given the ambience and upscale feel of the property. Did not try the food as i came for drinks and dessert only which were fine.
Nice place with good food. The service staff were friendly. This is one of the place where the at least one of the service staff is able to speak and understand English and Mandarin! So it was a big plus point for us. Enjoyed the food.
We visited with another couple from Bangkok, suggested by our resort.Italian themed décor and menu showcasing their local organic vegetables with the standard pizzas and other Mediterranean dishes.Service was slow as it was early on Sunday evening we visited and a large group had ordered just before us. No problem we enjoyed our lovely Italian wine reasonably prices.Food was well presented and flavourful. A couple of very friendly, clean dogs sat with us a great joy to find in Thailand, no trouble just enjoyed a bit of our attention. The wine was so good we bought bottles to take back to our resort. There was a superb shop attached selling organic products and vegetables as well as health products not normally seen. Will return

It's a norm that whenever there is a English menu price would be dearer; not this restaurant. Restaurant owner and helper were all very friendly, a true Thai hospitality that surpass many service provider and putting them to shame. The prices of the dishes start from a low 20 bahts to the highest 180bahts. Tom yum soup was one of the best we have tasted so far yet they are many other dishes that are rarely available elsewhere. We ordered 9 dishes x 2 portions for total 13 persons and the final bill is about 2000 bahts.Do visit and try it out when you visit Khao Kho, worth it.

Visited here after a disappointing visit to the National Park e needed an uplift after a double pricing rip-off.This coffee shop restaurant has lovely staff, very efficient and friendly. After paying we wandered around looking at a few of the items for sale lovely Tee shirts with local hand embroidery. We were, out of the blue, offered us mini curry puffs, just as tasters, a nice touch. Many photo opportunities in the pretty gardens with the valley as a backdrop.
