January 13, 2020 Oliva Fomby

Find out what Thai restaurants to try in Goa. The sandy coast of Goa is perfect for reclining by the sea. Nestle into a cushioned chair at a beach shack and savor a curry while you sip a Kingfisher beer, watching the sun slip lazily below the horizon. In Old Goa, the beautiful Basilica of Bom Jesus is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a fine example of baroque architecture. Visit during Christmastime to experience a fantastic religious and cultural mash-up of East and West.

Recommended for lunch as you have a nice beach ambiance.Lovely restaurant & very friendly staff. We were there early on Sat eve, 8.30pm.We were distinctly uncomfortable- loud, very cold & dark. Not our ideal dining conditions- maybe we are getting old!The Prawn dumpling was actually very good as was the mixed rice but the green curry was the least authentic we have ever had- straight from a packet.

The banyan tree restaurant was a beautiful experience in itself but SANDIP provided excellent services and added to the charm of the evening. He suggested all specialties and I loved the food and drinks. I was travelling to Goa to celebrate my birthday and decided to treat myself at this amazing Thai restaurant in north Goa for my birthday dinner. To my surprise when Sandip discovered that its my birthday, they celebrated it so beautifully that I will never forget it. AMAZING staff, beautiful live music, great food. This place was all I needed on my birthday.

We usually visit once while in goa, it is on the expensive side. The service is always good the waiters polite and informative. The restaurant is peaceful with lots of space between tables. The food as ever was excellent. A vast menu which takes a bit of reading. You never feel rushed. A lovely place.
