My wife and I just returned from lunch at SakoonThai. As always, delicious. My wife had the Chicken Satay and I had the wonton soup and the kemun jepp (sp?) with a beer.Lynette loves the Satay, you get 4 good skewers and the little salad. The wonton soup was delicious and a healthy portion with 5 wontons in it. The Kemun jepp is my all time favorite appetizer. It is ground port and shrimp in wontons and comes with a wonderful sauce. Go, you won't be disappointed.

Read the rating for this restaurant, we stopped here for dinner on the way back from SkyLine Drive. Very nice waitress, cozy place, ordered Pad Thai and a couple bowls lemon coconut shrimp soup. The pad Thai was very plain, not as good as we expected. The soup was unbelievable salty!

Really unsatisfying experience.Had Summer rolls (B-) which were very dry with thickly cut dried out carrots as the main ingredient which was hard to chew and minimal amount of chicken, Papaya salad (C) again minimal portion size and flavor wise, and Crispy basil duck (D) the worse duck dish we ever had in Thai restaurant (on the most part it was duck fat skin "tempura" with a few slices of red and green peppers and again flavorless and skimpy in size). The service was trying to be nice, but was not very professional or even reasonable (the waitress comes to the table seeing us still chewing on the food and not emptied serving dishes and asks if she can clear up the them?). WHAT?!?!PLEASE Asian servers DO NOT DO IT to your patrons, it's VERY INAPPROPRIATE and IRRITABLE so don't count on the good tips afterwards.Needless to say it was the first and the last visit of this place for us.
