Always a pleasure to grab a quick takeaway from here when we stay in Birkdale. Generous portions, reasonably priced & friendly staff. I'll be back again

Quaint little restaurant in down town Alex Hills. Knowledgeable staff and huge selection of mains, entree's and desserts. Relaxed atmosphere where children are welcome. Even have Chang beers.

Small and busy restaurant, didnât have a booking and were initially seated outside. As it was a chilly evening, we asked and were moved indoors once a table became available. The young waitress was very busy but super efficient and polite.Huge portions, lots of veggies. My daughter loved the flat Thai bread. Tasty red curry beef, meat was the only let down, not sure how it was cooked, but was slightly rubbery.Overall a good experience. The whole street in Wellington Point is a bustling eating spot with great choices, recommend as an alternative night out for Brisbane folks.

You can't go wrong at Thai Tamarind - delicious Thai food, fresh ingredients, prompt and friendly service and generous serves. Their satay sticks are a particular favourite. We had the mixed entree, beef Penang and chicken cashew nut stir fry and all were yummy. Would love it if this place was BYO.
Went back to this restaurant after about a year as it changed hands 5 months ago. Very extensive Thai Menu. We had chicken Satay and Dim Sim for Entrees. Chicken was a wee bit dry, but over all entrees were very good. Mains were Red Curry with chicken which was great and Crispy Pork Belly Stir Fried with Basil Leaves which was amazing, both with Jasmine rice.Helpful staff and our waitress was very good. We will be going back again.

If you never have Thai food we welcome you to try out ours cuisine. We try our best to make great food for you.
There is nothing glamorous about the Thai Focus, but it serves good Thai food. Our staples at a Thai restaurant are curry puffs for entree, followed by yellow chicken curry and a Thai beef salad. The curry puffs here were OK - would have preferred puff pastry however. The beef salad was quite different from any I have tasted before - OK, but not something I would order again. The yellow curry on the other hand was fabulous. Decor is pleasant, but basic - although chairs were very comfortable. The service was excellent. BYO is permitted. Prices are very good. We could not remember the last time we dined out for under $50.Based on the curry, we will be back to sample more options from this please little establishment..

The address given is misleading as the restaurant is at Wellington Point but well worth the effort of driving the short distance to go there. Main Street is lined with poinciana trees which were in full bloom when we were there and they added to the village atmosphere we experienced. My wife and I both enjoyed the mixed entrees before tucking in to the generous and tasty mains. My sizzling seafood was exactly what it claimed to be, hot and sizzling ( also very tasty ) while my wife'sThai karee sauce stir fry with chicken was equally as good.Service was prompt and friendly - certainly no cause for complaint there. We sat out on the footpath with a cool breeze blowing as the sun set and luxuriated at the end of the day.As the restaurant is not licensed it could be worth taking your own wine etc, although there is a bottle shop in the hotel on the corner.

This restaurant is located in the Raby Bay Marina, in Cleveland QLD, the Raby Bay Marina has several other restaurants in it such as Hogs Breath Cleveland and The Icon Bar & Bistro.
Outdoor seating makes it very nice on a balmy Queensland evening. Food was variable; satay chicken was excellent as was the choo Chee sauce but the prawns in it were not fresh and overcooked.Service was stretched on a busy midweek night with many Christmas get-togethers, but the kitchen coped well.BYO and licensed with limited wine list. Pricing is reasonable.

Great positive was finding Thaison open late. A great range of dishes that catered for out diverse group however the meals lacked the extra wow factor to rate higher than 3 stars. Sweet chilli chicken with cashews was very oily and the pad thai lacked taste. Having said that, it may be worthwhile to dine in as the group we saw there wee having a great time.

Our family has been eating both inhouse and takeaway for years. It has had it's ups and downs and currently it's definately worth a visit. All tables were full of happy patrons and it smelt of spicy fragrances. The coconut chili jam chicken curry paired with coconut rice was hot and delicious. The honey sesame chicken was crispy and was my son's favourite.
