The parking lot was full. We ended parking over at the next restaurants parking lotThere was plenty of seating inside. Ordered egg roll which were only ok. We were only half way through them when my wife's main course came. Mine did not come until she was half way through hers. Her Curry was good, but ordered at medium hot was a little to spicy. I ordered the special Kaput with extra pork and medium spicy. It was very bland. I like giving fives but for me this was only a three.

One of my favorite restaurants in Roy. I love everything on the menu and we go often enough we get things that aren't on the menu. Nice atmosphere. Great food.

We've never understood why this family-owned and operated restaurant isn't always packed. It's our go to place for Thai, and one of our favorite restaurants overall. It has everything: excellent food, very reasonable prices, decor (take time to look closely at the carved wood piece at the entrance as well as the large paintings), linen table cloths, unobtrusive Thai background music, and friendly service from family members like Katie. Both lunch and dinner are available, with daily lunch specials. The tom kha kai soup (chicken, mushrooms, and lemon grass in coconut milk) is exceptional. I could make a meal on that alone. Concerned Thai is too spicy? Just ask for mild. They will accommodate your taste preference.

It pains me to write a mixed review of Thai Jasmine, since the staff were so nice and friendly. But the food was mediocre, at best - well below expectations. Maybe this is because we availed ourselves of the buffet instead of ordering off the menu. The pad thai was drenched in sauce, almost soupy. The other dishes (which included an odd wonton-looking thing stuffed with slightly sweetened cheese of some sort) were so-so. Zero atmosphere, and points off for the television on the wall.

We had limited expectations as the restaurant is located into a commercial area and the outside does not look new. However the menu offers many options: meat, veggie, non spicy, etcThe beef dishes were excellent with a meat perfectly cooked. The pho were also delicious It is owned and operated by Thai people and you can taste that the dishes are genuine and cook to order

This is not the place to experience great ambiance. But it is great for friendly service and fabulous food. My vegetarian wife got tofu selections even though it was not listed on the menu. The people who own this are from Thailand and they are quite adept at their trade. My wife RAVED about her Tofu Pad Thai (I'll take her word for it). My selection was quite good though I'm looking forward to trying other offerings. Hope you enjoy the photos and do make a bee line for this yummy eatery.
