Great food. Very authentic Taiwanese food you can't find elsewhere. Prices are reasonable. The shave ice is worth a visit alone! The service is a tad better than typical Chinese small dining establishments. Still harried, and not particularly warm and friendly, but at least they are efficient and the food comes quickly.

101 Noodle Express offers a variety of delicious dumplings and noodles made the traditional way. What's different about this restaurant's dumplings is that they serve not just the typical pork and/or shrimp/crab but also, fish, chicken, lamb, and vegetarian dumplings steamed or fried. The noodles come in choices of either regular, hand-torn (much like al dente extra wide fettuccine), or rice noodles. They are prepared in different types of soups, sauces and also available in cold noodle options . My family and I dine there regularly and mostly enjoy their beef hand-torn noodles, fish dumplings, and cold spicy beef tendon appetizer. If you're a foodie and want to expand your palate, you'll appreciate the different variety of dumplings and noodle choices here. If you are only seeking what you're used to and expect it, this might not be the place for you. The restaurant decor is not fancy, just casual and simple. It's always very busy, so service may not be up to par all the time. You'll have to be there with the intentions for just the good food not for fine dining and pampering. If you get there around 7:00 pm there's always a line. Earlier would be best and finding parking on the street would be a lot easier.
