The Restaurant at Jugendstil Pax Montana hotel serves some great stuff.The views of the mountain valley from the hotel restaurant are just breathtaking. Wine and cocktails served were good as was the food. Service was excellent as well. The hotel guys served us with some sandwiches & quick bite when we arrived after closing time on one of the days.

Wer es- aus welchem Grund auch immer- manchmal ein bisschen schwer hat, in einem Restaurant ein passendes Gericht zu finden, ist hier bestens bedient.Die Bedienung ist gern bereit, auf Wünsche der Gäste einzugehen Der Koch zeigt sich flexibel, wenn es darum geht, ein Gericht zu veganisieren, Zutaten oder Beilagen abzuändern oder gar etwas ganz anderes zu kochen. Auch Hunde werden freundlich willkommen geheissen.Die Menükarte (einsehbar unter http://muehlesarnen.ch) ist vielfältig, gekocht wird mit frischen Zutaten, die möglichst aus der Region stammen.Die Mühle ist für mich ein Geheimtipp, von dem aber ruhig noch mehr Menschen wissen dürften ;-) .Wer also im Obwaldnerland unterwegs ist und mit lieben Menschen oder auch Geschäftspartnern ein ausgezeichnetes Mahl in angenehmster Atmosphäre geniessen will, ist in der Mühle bestens aufgehoben!

Nothing special quality wise. What ruined the experience was the waitress who, after taking orders ''Menu 1'' for two of our friends, all she brings is the main course of the menu. Our friends asks her what about the soup, and she said: you did not explicitly ask for it. Our friends were to nice and just ate the main without wanting to discuss any further. When the time comes to pay the bill, our friends ask for at a least a discount as the menu was not served in full. The waitress said, well i can bring you now the soup. Whether you had or not the soup, the price remains the same. No discount. In other words, she was absolutely completely against any discount, she took no credit for her messed up service.Had not yet had such an experience in a restaurant. So if it happens that you go, make sure when you order the Menu, to tell the waiters: BRING EVERYTHING THE MENU HAS, THE SOUP and THE SALAD etc.

The hotel-restaurant has a certain class, the terrace is nice, but our food was disappointing, certainly not worth the price. Service was friendly and efficient. Having the restrooms in the basement (which seems to have been designed as an army bunker) is an architectural mistake.

I really enjoyed eating here, yes it might be a bit pricey but food and service was realy good.We had excellent service and a great traditional meal.It was a Great evening out and would visit again.

Went to the Seefeld restaurant located bang on the shores of Lake Sarnen, next to the camping site.The plce has both outdoor and indoor seating arrangements. Initially, we took some beer & coffee and sat outside, enjoying the sunshine on the lake front.When it was supper time (like most restaurants, this one closes around 8pm too), we went inside and had pasta meals along with fries for dinner. The food was pretty good and bit pricey, but in line with other Swiss restaurants. Service could have been bit warmer though.Decent place to go when in Sarnen camping site

Da wir noch unterwegs waren, entschieden wir uns spontan für dieses Restaurant.Die Google-Bewertung sprach für sich. (4.7 im Durchschnitt)Schade, das auf der Homepage die Speisekarte fehlt. Dies macht mich immer ein wenig nervös, da man nicht weiss was man bekommt und zu welchem Preis.Auf jeden Fall haben wir 2x den Adler-Horst (Halbes Poulet mit Spezialsauce) probiert.Es war sehr lecker. Auch die Vorspeise (Weissweinsuppe) war sehr fein. Auch wenn sie mir ein wenig zu flüssig war. Die Geschmäcker sind halt verschieden.Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Ebenso das Wirtepaar.Genügend Parkplätze sind vorhanden!Wenn wir das nächste Mal in der Nähe sind, werden wir bestimmt wieder einkehren!Danke für das leckere Essen!

We had dinner at the Jordan on a Saturday evening without reservation, which is why we had to sit inside. Nevertheless, we had a very good dinner with Bruschetta and Egliknusperli. Though the interior would need a brush up we had a nice evening there. The only negative thing was that it took the waiter about 20-25 minutes to bring us the bill and let us pay. Still I would recommend this restaurant also for families with kids.

We had a single dish each, both quite good. Good and quick service, they could speak French (and probably also English) and translate the german-only menu. Dessert (meringue with whipped cream) not bad as well. A bit expensive, as all the restaurants in the area.
