As a complete cheeseoholic but unfortunately intolerant to wheat, I wondered what I would be offered - but no need to worry, some delicious boiled-in-their-skin potatoes arrived. We had the classic cheese fondue and it was exceptional. The host was very hospitable and we had a great dinner. If I was in Andermatt again I'd definitely go there again.

Came here for a family dinner whilst staying in Andermatt and had a lovely evening. This is a traditional Swiss restaurant serving delicious food with very good service. Nice cosy old fashioned wooden room. I had pork chop, my husband had lamb and kids had steak. All very tasty. Were were looked after very well and the owner came out to chat to us at the end of the meal.

We ate lunch here - the service was very good, the food was reasonable. In our experience, there are better places to eat in Andermatt (indeed, the general standard of restaurants in Andermatt is very high).

Just back from a week in Andermatt & we visited Spycher most days for a drink & ate there twice. Fantastic atmosphere very friendly, helpful staff & the food is excellent! Great home made pizzas & if you like steak tartare then this is the place for you!

We really liked this little hotel. The bedrooms and bathrooms are slightly dated, with old fashioned tiles etc, but it's well equipped and well located in the village centre, has a free car park, and two restaurants both traditional and smart with white tablecloths (same menu). The dinner and the included breakfast were very good. Rooms on the river side are a tiny bit noisy with the windows open. The staff were fantastically kind and helpful. Prices are average. Would recommend.

Stopped here for lunch whilst riding through the area. Food is absolutely delicious and great local menu. Service is excellent and very welcoming. The furniture and decor is new but classic alpine chic. The view is amazing.A must-stop in summer or winter.

Overall, in Andermatt, we were satisfied with the service offered at the local restaurants. Here one stands out with another level.Don't expect any gastronomic novelties, here is the tradition in the finger tips. Sturdy portions that saturate the guests.

Worth booking ahead for Baerenâ¦..Had a delicious meal here..the beef cheeks were to die for. The menu has a good variety of Italian dishes....I fancied several from each course. An extensive wine list allowed the choice of a nice bottle without breaking the bank. Very friendly and helpful service

Dropped in for lunch while motorbiking. Special board offering apple strudel and coffee for SwFr12. It was brilliant - custard was as good as my wifeâs, and cream as well. Mmmm!

In The Restaurant we will tempt you with dishes from four different, stylish open studio kitchens showcasing both Asian and European fare. Surrounded by exquisite aromas, watch the food being prepared directly and freshly in front of you. The Restaurant h
Nice restaurant, Sunday evening pretty full and therefore unexpected noisy. Personal kind and full of attention for the clients, but in some case clearly novice. We choose the Asian sharing menu: Starters, dim sum and dessert were great, the main course and the wine accompaniment unfortunately under the level we were expecting. All together a nice experience but not the best we found in The ChediDear isanoll,Thank you so much for taking some of your precious time sharing your feedback with us. It is always a pleasure to receive overall positive feedback. However, we are very sorry and surprised to learn that you did not enjoyed the flavor of the food of your main course, as overall, we get very positive comments for our Asian cuisine.Thank you again for your much appreciated visit and we are looking forward to welcoming you back very soon.Sincerely,Jean-Yves BlattGeneral Manager & The Chedi Andermatt Team
