Normal me direz vous... l'endroit se trouve en plein milieu d'un complexe touristique. Cadre plutot sympa au bord d'un lac. Difficile cependant de faire abstraction des babins qui s'amusent joyeusement dans les attractions disséminérs autour du lieu de restauration. Carte sommair entre le snack le flunch et la cantine... on ne vient pas ici pour la cuisine mais pour se restaurer. Notre choix s'est porté sur du saumon noyé dans une sauce rappelant vaguement les préparations surgelées de supermarchés. Le tout pour 18 eur ... plutot raisonnable pour le pays!Vin au verre correct sans plus.Vous l'aurez compris... à eviter sauf à défaut de mieux dans une région il est vrai ou les restaurants se gont finalement assez rares.

Besökte Stallgården en lördag em Mycket gäster men ändå lätt att få bord i de väl utnyttjade lokalerna . Då vi denna gång var ute efter fika lät vi oss smaka av de goda bakverken. Trevlig service och den bästa köttbullsmacka vi smakat gör att man varmt kan rekommendera ett besök här.

Tog en lunch här i veckan och den var bra även denna gången. Trevlig personal, god mat, ok lokal, dock ngt dyrt kanske - men som sagt var..gott.

The four of us (two from Sweden and two from Canada) were treated to the most wonderful meal here. We dined âal frescoâ in a charming garden and were waited on by Beatrice who was animated, entertaining, and very helpful. She was a delightful hostess. Her English was fantastic (very helpful to those of us who donât speak Swedish). This restaurant comes highly recommended. A full five stars!

Fantastic experience! The staff were friendly and very welcoming. Wide range of drinks and they served us some excellent Hernö gin & tonics. Highlight of the night was their superb Bookmaker toast, I could eat it everyday! Will definitely return next time Iâm in town.

Beautiful location and point of view around the fiord and the stunning Bridge. The restaurant is perfect for cerimony and for official lunch/dinner. It's also very romantic. I was there for an official international dinner (5:30 p.m.). The dinner was based on only one main course. Only some small bottle of water and beer. In case we wanted to drink more, we should go to the bar and pay by ourself........they said us this is normal in Sveden.......really strange!!!! The main course looked lovely but only that for dinner is a sort of diet......and this also is normal!!!!

Staying at hotel Carlia next door, this was an easy choice.Very nice interior, spacey and cosy. We had the buffet, and we were pleasantly surprise at how nice it all was.Not the widest of choices, but everything we sampled was fresh and tasty.The meat section was the best. The chef sliced freshly cooked lamb and beef and it was really 1st class!Only minus was that the waitress was a bit slow taking away our plates even though the place was almost empty...A place I really would visit again if I should find myself in this rather dull city once more.

In the old very beautiful health resort Gustafsberg some kilometers south of Uddevalla and in the end of âStrandpromenadenâ you will find this popular and nice café/restaurant just a few meters from the fjord. You can get some food, but most popular is their âRäkmackaâ shrimp sandwich or their good pastries, which you can taste in this old house with a view over the fjord or from the outdoor parts. I can strongly recommend Konditori Snäckan and I will come back again.
