Welcome to Kerstin & Britt - restaurant and garden cafe. Open yearly from april to december. Please visit www.kerstinochbritt.se for further details and opening hours. We are located close to Nacka, only 15 minutes from the city center of Stockholm and yo
We discovered this restaurant for dinner with our American party of 7 just before setting sail on a charter. It was a delightful and unexpected surprise. The restaurant has a beautiful and comfortable dining room made with what looked like old wooden beams and glass; it has a nice outdoor seating area too. An artistâs studio is adjacent to the restaurant, which adds to the lovely, creative vibe. The host could not have been nicer or more hospitable. We started with antipasto of delicious meats, cheeses, and olives then moved on to entrees - some traditional and delicious Swedish dishes. We enjoyed a nice selection of cocktails, beers, and wines. The desserts, especially a melt-in-your-mouth rhubarb pie, were outstanding. If youâre in the area, donât miss this restaurant!
Vid dåligt väder kan det bli väldigt trångt och varmt då cafet är litet med få sittplatser. Fina varma dagar kan man nyttja den trevliga uteplatsen som är stor och har massor med bort och stolar i fin miljö.
Saltis Bar and Restaurant started in 2019. Next to Saltsjobadens station and Grand Hotel you will find this cozy restaurant. The menu is wide and includes meat dishes, fish dishes, salads, pasta and pizza. Perfect place for a drink, a cold beer and a good
We were here on a Thursday evening so there weren't many people. Saltis had just opened for two months but it was a come and go for pizza takeaways. We were well treated by the friendly hostess and co-owner. Pizzas were great indeed as well as the other dishes. Plates were big. Please don't hesitate to go here though it isn't situated at the waterfront like some of the more fancy places nearby; you won't be disappointed! For its good food and friendly atmosphere, this restaurant deserves many more to pay a visit!
Cozy restaurant situated at the old trainstation, Solsidan. Midprized high quality.

Welcome to Artipelag Restaurant on the third floor of the Artipelag art museum. We offer a lunch and brunch buffet based on ingredients of the season. We rave for ecological and locally produced food and many of our ingredients come from our own cultivati
Whilst visiting the Artipelag, we popped into their restaurant (Badan Café) and had a bite to eat. Enjoyed a Mushroom Soup with their beautiful fresh bread along with a Roast Beef open-sandwich and their local Artipelag Pale Lager beer which they brewed onsite. There was a huge round rock coming up through the floor (they actually built the café around the rock). Very unique â a piece of natureâs artwork within an art museum.

Restaurant and Bar Sea Front is located at Grand Hotel Saltsjöbaden. Here you will find the chefs choice and á la carte menu. Enjoy some food and beverage on the outside terrace or take a drink at the bar - all with a view of the ocean. The restaurant als
Grand Hotel in Saltsjöbaden was designed in the spirit of Hotel-des-Bains on Lido outside Venice. It is the hallmark building of this old-fashioned residential area, a 25 min. train ride from The Old Town in Stockholm. Italians love it. It has a quiet restaurant called Sea Front, with seats outside on the deck, overlooking the old bath houses. This is where the first Black/White tv was installed in 1957! We had an excellent Riesling to accompany the fish.Dear Christer,Thank you for a splendid, historic and detailed review of your visit at Sea Front. We are glad to hear you enjoyed your meal and we hope we get the opportunity to welcome you back again.Sincerely, Jenny Höglund, Front Office Manager

If this was a perfect world, I would give this 4 stars for food, 4 for service and maybe 2 for "value for money". .. which would give an overall rating of around three. This is a classy restaurant, and they charge classy prices. We both ordered a starter of the duck breast for 165kr and what arrived was a laughably small portion size, I don't think I've ever been so disappointed in a starter as I was this one. 95kr for a glass of Cava .. I don't remeber the brand, but it seemed pricey to me. The main course was "Luffarbiff , Västerbottensost, kronärtskocka & sallad" .. it was decent, but the consistency was a little strange. Not stringy, but definitely not tender .. hard to desribe. The environment was pleasant and felt, well classy. It was a pity as my partner had eaten here before and had praised the restaurant. Nothing on the dessert menu looked worth the money or the calories so we left it at two courses and over 1000kr and not entirely full. Needless to say, we didn't visit the restaurant agin the next evening. Thanks for a nice review, I will spread your nice words about us to my colleagues. This restaurant is 14-15 km outside downtown Stockholm in the sleeping suburb of Fisksätra, the "poor cousin" of the posher, richer area of Saltsjöbaden. The waterfront location is pleasant. Driving there from Stockholm takes about 15-20 min via Route 222 and the "Saltsjöleden" highway link. I recommend using Google/Apple Maps to get there. Buses from Slussen are an alternative. The Saltsjöbanan railroad to Fisksätra station is easiest, but check where you can board a train -- the railroad is being extensively renovated and upgraded until 2023. The walk from the station is around 100 meters. In the summer you can also board a boat from Nybrokajen in downtown Stockholm (near Dramaten, the Royal Theater, direction "Artipelag") for a lovely ride straight to the restaurant. The restaurant: Saltsjö Pir (Pir is pier or jetty in English) is housed in a large building by the water. Be extremely careful about parking in the lot outside: parking guards from private companies rove these lots to fine parkers, which has become a very lucrative suburban business. There are no meters or machines to buy a parking ticket on the lot. You can park free for two hours if you have a "parking disc" showing the time you arrived. Otherwise, tell your server you want to purchase a parking ticket directly from the restaurant: a mere 20 kr will get you several hours of parking. Display the ticket openly on your dashboard near the steering wheel. The restaurant is large, open and gives you a view of the outdoors and water. The atmosphere is relaxed and staff will not push you out the door when your meal is finished. Unlike some large, noisy places, the acoustics are very good for conversation. There is a pleasant sitting area in the center with a "faux" fireplace. The kitchen is open at the back, where you can see the chefs preparing food. The menu is not extensive and features meat/fish/vegetarian choices. When we were there you could order things like a steak, venison, salmon, a hot tempura roll, roasted pumpkin with butternut squash purée, and fried herring. The chef has an ownership interest, so the class of cooking for a non-downtown restaurant in an offbeat location.

We went there for an early dinner and got a table right at the water. The waiter was friendly but as the restaurant got more busy it all took quite some time. Food was nice, no to big of portions though. We liked it. When the sun was away and some cold breeze set in they closed the windows and roof and the chill was out and all was great again! Will be back soon!
