We always look forward to visiting the gardens for the flowers and the great lunch buffet. The home made foods and the great atmosphere make this a wonderful experience. We can’t wait to return.

Fresh off the plane from Los Angeles, Tobbes Kok was my first experience at a Swedish Restaurant. I don't think that this would have been a normal pick for tourists, but Tobbes Kok is located adjacent to the beautiful community where my step-children live with their mother. We all went for a family dinner to celebrate the first night of our trip. This was the only restaurant that we visited in Sweden that did not have the menu translated in English.Intimidating! Not that I expected to find any menus in English, but it was still an intimidating experience.Luckily, my husband's ex-wife, who I had just met, sat next to me and went through all of my options. She was fantastic and steered me towards ordering a goat cheese and beet salad for a starter and a seafood stew for my main. Excellent choices! The kids love the pancakes at Tobbes Kok and even more, the love the adjacent playground. We were seated on the patio, where we could see them playing. This is a great restaurant, especially on a beautiful summer evening. I also loved that our server waved hi to us, every time we walked by the restaurant during the trip. Friendly people and delicious food.Like my review? Check out my blog!

If you like small restuarants with a genuine touch with a theme this is a place to go to. Inspired by the movie making history on the premises combined with good service and a creative chef makes this place really good. What keeps this from five point rating from me was our main dish. We had a slow cooked beef course and it wasn't good at all. Very small place so make sure to reserve a table in advance.Hi there,Thank you for your visit and sharing your experience! We're really sorry to hear about your main course. Welcome back to our cozy restaurant! /Stina

Nice to find familiar food, although vegetarian options were limited. There were plenty of Swedish dishes. One of my colleagues had a lovely cod dinner. Generally food seemed salty to me, although my companions who both ate meat had no complaints.

We had a filler lunch by ordering hot dogs at the exit hotdog counter at the exit. The sausage ha really become shorter and the skin is awful. The price is still 5 krona and guess that is pretty good even for a filler. We have tried earlier the open shrimp sandwich at the “canteen” and it is good and good value for the money. At other, in town alternatives, the price is more or less double!

Säby Gård Café is located in a charming old barn behind Barkarby, surrounded by green fields, trees and horses. Very nice switch from shopping madness only five minutes away. Just be careful that GPS sometimes send cars through pedestrian path from Enköpingsvägen, which doesn't work well, better get there from Bauhaus side. Parking - no problem.I am attracted to Säby Gård Café by two things: smell of the old wooden building and darkness. It is quite dark inside, and it gives rest from Swedish sunny summer. Together with the wooden walls it gives impression of old, very old, safe and calm human home. I miss it in the modern buildings. Or one may sit outside and watch at the horses. My favourite treat there are huge warm vanilla buns. Their smell add to the fragrance of the building. The crumble cake is also nice. One may have soup or pie for lunch, but be prepared that it takes quite some time to get it. It's not a place for a quick lunchbreak, definitely. Lovely feature: great deal of mugs of various designs and sizes so that everyone may find something to reflect his taste and personality. Café is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but works all other days.

Managed to get eat here without a reservation which was pure luck. The service at this small but popular restaurant is fantastic, just attentive to enough without being imposing. Although the fish stew was very tasty it was slightly over salted for tastes. I would say this is more of a 3,5 rating and will try it again.

Really bad service, and when this type of service level is combined with mediocre food I would never recommend this place. Overpriced drinks, non-alcoholic beer over 60kr, overpriced water (that the old rude waitress fills the bottles just with tab water) Food was mediocre, nothing I would be glad to pay for. A lot of old women as a customer.
