Mycket bra lunch i solen på uteserveringen vid vattnet. Vi kom in och beställde i baren. Gick bra. maten kom efter ca 20 min. Bra med varma tallrikar. Vätternrödingen var mycket bra. Coqai Vin helt otrolig. Tror det var tryffel i potatispurén. Gott. Vi drack rött vin och lokal öl från Närke. Kul namn Närkes Slättöl

En sibylla i anslutning till rondellen i Askersund.Klart bättre lokaler än normalt för Sibylla.Trevlig personal och bra service, rent och snyggt pÃ¥ toaletter och i restaurangen.Bra allergi information och snabb leverans av maten.Tyvärr fallerar vissa delar dÃ¥ man fÃ¥r väldigt lite sallad, bara sallad, och moset var inte riktigt blandad pÃ¥ tvÃ¥ maträtter, detta drar ner betyget. Vid pÃ¥pekanden sÃ¥ är man förvÃ¥nad men ingen ursäkt levererades, dÃ¥ menar jag inte att vi skulle fÃ¥ nÃ¥got utan ett âursäkta misstagetâ är det enda som saknades.Lite trÃ¥kigt grillad korv skall tilläggas.

Was stopping at cabin near Askersund and ate here for lunch a couple of times. Friendly staff with good English. Food was served very quickly. Good portions and very tasty. Nice to sit on the terrace watching the boats and birds. A great place to eat.

Vi åt en mycket god och prisvärd lunch bestående av stekt strömming och hemgjord potatispure. Stället ligger i Askersunds hamn och består av ett enkelt hus och enkla sittplatser under parasoll. Det är mycket populärt och väntan på både mat och sittplats kan ta en stund. Utbudet är i huvudsak olika fiskrätter. Mycket prisvärt!

The environment is fantastic and very family-friendly. However the food is not good at all. If you don't eat meat you will have nothing to choose. Even the Salomon was sprinkled with bacon. Everything was very over-cooked and hard. This was no incident since while we where there they changed the plates on the Buffett several times and it was always new burnt or hard food. Even the meatballs ordered a la carte was so hard we couldn't cut them.

Nice place overviewing the main square in Askersund. The pizzas we ordered were very tasty. Service was fast and staff was friendly.

Stjernsunds Slottscafé is right next to Stjernsunds Slott, which is a beautiful castle right outside of Askersund. The castle and its surroundings, with a large garden and a small farm, is idyllically located between the lakes Alsen and Vättern. There are some shops selling eggs and souvenirs and it is possible to have guided tours of the castle. This should make for a great place to eat, but we left feeling somewhat underwhelmed. We had the summer buffet which is really pricey, SEK195 (appr. 30 USD or 22.5 EUR). For this price, you really need to take a good look at the amazing view of the lake and take in the beautiful surroundings while you eat. The buffet was tasty with some smoked salmon, chicken and roast beef with several potato dishes and pies, but it is not the most high end-food (and unfortunately there is no dessert included). And it's certainly not worth SEK195! So my suggestion is this: visit Stjernsund, walk around in the park, buy some local eggs and visit the castle but instead of the expensive buffet, have some coffee and cake and save your money. Perhaps you can use them to visit the inside of the castle, which is beautiful.The exaggerated price level is the reason I can only give 3/5.

Nothing crazy on the menu here, but some nice options like fish&chips, burger, mixed grill, that sort of thing. They also had kids meals that were not listed on the menu, again things like burger, meatballs, fishfingers. We sat outside in the sun on a lovely evening, very enjoyable with nice food and good service!

Ronne Café & Bistro located in Ronne Chapel anno 1875. Café with light lunches and great coffee sweetsat daytime. In the evenings the bistro is open with everything from "smörrebröd" to moules frites. The right to serve alcohol.

Blev hitbjudna av goda vänner och vi blev verkligen inte besvikna. En regnig sommardag passade tomatsoppan alldeles utmärkt. Värmande och god med en härlig skiva bröd till. Vacker miljö, rogivande. Trevlig personal. Vad mer kan man önska.

Close to the entrance bridge to the old quaint charming city and opposite the big city church you will find this café in an ordinary tidy house. But inside you will find a small first class chocolate maker with exciting taste combinations and exquisite varietes of dark chocolate. We always stop here for a joyful moment when we pass the area by car and every time we can not resist but bring some boxes of sweet lovelies back home with us. Heaven with coffee or brandy/rum. We wish the café the best of futures and hope that customers will come and appreciate this gem in Askersund!
