We visited Basil for dinner. Excellent choice. The food was wonderful and very tasty. Portions were large. The best however was the service. Quick, friendly and knowledgable about the menu. The dining area is large, clean and roomy. Nothing lacking at this establishment. Very good place to have a great meal. The experience was one of the best I've had in months. Definitely will be back when I come to Wooster.

Although there are a dozen fast food, Chinese takeout places in the area, we have very few nicer, sit-down Asian restaurants. Basil became instantly popular when it opened, and is a favorite of many of my friends. It gets busy on the weekends, so go early or be prepared to wait an hour in the bar area. This past Saturday night, my husband and I went with another couple. We shared edamame and two types of sushi (the summer roll and the spicy scallop roll, both of which were very good) as appetizers. For dinner, my friend had the red curry tilapia, which she said was good but not as spicy as sheâd hoped (she likes things very spicy, though) and her husband had house fried rice with chicken, which came in a huge portion. My husband had the pad Thai, which is delicious. I am on a mostly vegetarian eating plan right now, so I ordered the avocado curry with brown rice. It was loaded with big chunks of fresh vegetables, and I didnât even miss the meat. My husband and I both took home more than half of our portions and each got two more meals out of our leftovers. If you can agree on an entree, Iâd recommend splitting a meal so you can sample one of their many appetizers. Our bill for two people with sushi, entrees, and two drinks apiece was about $70 including tax. Service was friendly and prompt even though the place was packed by 6 pm. We will likely go back again and again!

Went with 3 other couples. Great fun and fantastic food.We sat at the table too long, so they asked us to move and got a free round of drinks.

It's seems to be hit or miss with wild finger, sometimes it's very good to great to absolutely bad. Recent Takeout for sweet and sour chicken was almost inedible- hard pieces of chicken, batter with no chicken in it at all. Very disappointing.
