Find out what Sushi restaurants to try in Waldshut-Tiengen. Waldshut-Tiengen is a city in southwestern Baden-Württemberg right at the Swiss border. It is the district seat and at the same time the biggest city in Waldshut district and a "middle centre" in the area of the "high centre" Lörrach/Weil am Rhein to whose middle area most towns and communities in Waldshut district belong (with the exception of seven communities that belong to Bad Säckingen's area). There are furthermore complexities arising from cross-border traffic between this area and the Swiss cantons of Aargau, Schaffhausen and Zürich. This classification relates to Walter Christaller's Central Place Theory, however, and not to any official administrative scheme.

I was surprise to see the very negative rating for this place and I read them. Let me summarize the negative point and explain why I still put maximum rating:Yes the service is very unprofessional, almost embarrassing. It looks like the the staff started very recently. This is especially true for the wine. Indeed the propose a lot of interesting wines in the menu, but it seems that they only have a couple of bottle available. They certainly know nothing about wines. Yes even is the decoration is nice, the room feel a bit cold is they is not enough customer. On the top of that the room is far to cold temperature wise. However cold room is normal for Japanese style. Not knowing wine is not surprising for Japanese culture. The unprofessional service as well just point towards other way to do and difficulty to scope with European habit. They try to do as well as they can but don't always know how. So these negative points are actually pointing towards a very authentic Japanese restaurant. Finally you go there to appreciated Japanese food and that is where they deserve 5 stars! The choice to select from is not very big but everything we tried so far was extremely good. Sometime surprising but always excellent. The waiting time is a bit long but everything was very fresh and well prepared. It is to be noted that the sushi/sashimi are done in nicely selected piece of fishes, resulting of a fish extremely tender and tasty. This is not so often the case in Europe. In summary, we had a especially good dinner and will for sure visit the place again (but we will take warm clothing)!

All-you-can-eat restaurant in Waldshut-Tiengen with order via iPad. Pay once, and then you can taste Asian specialties, whatever and as much as you want. Japanese sushi, teppanyaki, roastbeef, tuna rolls, prawns, exotic salads and other Far Eastern specia
We had dinner here and it was not that good... the rice of the shushi was too wet and not that tasty... the salmon was horrible... the service was also not really good... they delivered several times the wrong food and at the end not even all we ordered... the system with the iPads would be really nice, but if the food and service is not good the even the system is useless... I hope they improve... the restaurants itself would look good...
