We were hungry, tired and totally not expecting something that was simply beyond spectacular dishes of locally sourced food and expertly cooked by two friendly ladies who were charming, helpful and kind. The signature dish of scallops and pork was sweet, tender and the batter gave the perfect crunch. The soba, tempura don, the eel were just as memorable!

4. Aikawa Sushi

English menu available. One in our group of three ordered the "average quality" sushi and pronounced the selections very good. Two other people ordered the specials and were disappointed. Tempura special was overpriced, with only one shrimp and some vegetables. Grilled fish special turned out to be very bony with little meat, and that was undercooked. Small family-run shop, very nice staff.
