Entertaining chef and reasonably priced. Delicious, I want to try the hibachi next time. This place was recommended by a couple of sushi fans. Surprisingly generous portions. And very attentive service as I said. I'll be back to try the hibachi some night, along with a Singapore Sling.

Ate here on a Wednesday night when there was live Jazz and it was fun. The service was very attentive at first, almost felt rushed but when we mentioned we were in no hurry and the restaurant filled it was less so. The menu is varied and there is something for everyone. Sushi looked very good and presented beautifully. We opted for Peking duck buns, cold soba, lettuce wraps and the seafood hotpot which was more than enough for 2. Glass of wine and sorbet only set us back $77 before tip. The acoustics in the room are not great so it gets loud when full but if you dine early or want to sit on the patio which overlooks the post road then no problem.
Perfect oysters. Great salmon tartare and spreads. They can prepare nice seafood trays for any event. They provide a good service and decent selection. The quality and freshness is always top. But you certainly pay for that.

Visited on November 24, 2017 at 1:20 PM. Sushi was good, cut rather thin and elongated, like a thin rectangle, but good. Minimal rice under the sushi, different than most places, most places generous with the underlying white rice. Staff attentive. Parking on nearby side streets for free.

I had 2 less than great lunches at Kiraku about 18 mos ago and was reluctant to revisit but my wife encouraged me to try again for dinner. BIG improvement. The Teriyaki Chicken Bento Box was delicious as was my wife's Lo Mein. Cordial, prompt service in a friendly environment.

I took my God Daughter, who attends Sacred Heart, to Wild Rice for lunch today. I ordered Sushi, she Miso Soup, Ginger Salad and Scallion pancakes. My lunch dish was delicious, the sushi very fresh and delicious. Her food was also delicious with one caveat. Please instruct your staff who prepares the salad to cut the greens smaller and more thoroughly. She literally found an 8 inch length of lettuce that had been stabbed at multiple times. I will definitely return when back in Fairfield.

We took the kids and grandkids for Christmas Eve dinner. We had great service, wonderful appetizers and plenty of drinks for the adults. The little kids really enjoyed the variety. The adults had sushi, and different entrées.Everything was good.
