This restaurant while a chain has grown to be a regular lunch netting stop . Charming service all ways good bar and a pretty straight forward but varied menu I almost lays get the grilled trout w cabbage and goat cheese., trout being hard to get well cooked. My guests always love the food too . I like a reliable place with a lively clientele and beautifulAtmosphere donât miss the fish pond and the bear pictures . Men love the steaks and hamburger here grilled perfect and the sides seasonal donât miss the grilled artichoke big enough for two . Come early for dinner as it is crowded but just grab a drink and watch the koi and chill

Ordered a bowl which consisted of tuna bits and salmon bits (which smelled bad). over lettuce and rice. tempura looked like the stuff you get in the frozen section of the supermarket.octopus was rubber, tuna really bad, kind of falling apart. salad dressing was dilute. beer was good (guess cause they didn't touch it). pass on this one. awful

Went and took a family member there for their birthday last night...we chose the Teppan, where you sit at a "table" with other people and the food gets cooked right in front of you. The restaurant itself is nothing fancy, it's a bit noisy in there, but we had a fun time watching the chef prepare our chicken, lobster, scallops, etc. right there on the hot plate. They also have another section where you can sit "restaurant style", but being that we wanted to watch them prepare the food, we chose the Teppan. One of us had the yakisoba with steak and vegetables, it was very good! The rest of us had filet mignons, lobster, shrimp, and scallops....everyone was very satisfied with the food, it was cooked to perfection! This place is fun for a special event, or even on a regular day...they do have very reasonably priced lunch specials daily until 3pm. We enjoyed our meals and will definitely be returning to this establishment.

Weâve always prided ourselves on the quality and value of sushi in Vancouver and hesitate to eat Japanese food when we travel. Tonight we enjoyed perfectly prepared food, generous portions, and excellent service - looks like Vancouver has some serious competition.

Been here a number of times. The prices are somewhat lower than most of the Sushi places further West, like Takuya or Matsuri. The portions are generous. The downside-the atmosphere, service and reception when you arrive leave much to be improved and the quality of the sushi is not quite up to the level of places like Takuya or Matsuri, which is why i now prefer these two. I still use Gin for large party take-out orders where the lower $ is a factor

This is pretty much your typical Japanese American restaurant with typical dishes offered. But it is good. The miso soup had a good flavor and I enjoyed the salmon. Unfortunately the brown rice was cold, probably because no want else orders it and it just sits in the kitchen. The price was what I would expect.

This is the place, Excellent Sushi, Sashimi, and Service, what more can you ask for. Ichima is my favorite restaurant in Pasadena, with it's fresh and delicious seafood you can't go wrong. Slide up to the Sushi counter and enjoy life, it doesn't get much better.

This is a new Japanese restaurant that just opened up & we have been there for lunch & dinner. Not typical, but unique and quantity food. Amazing flavors, even in the simple Mizo soup. The yellowtail belly was unique and not often found. Very friendly staff. You can tell the owner takes much pride in what he serves.

We loved this experience--some really interesting flavors and creativity. And quite reasonable. My favorite was the tuna sushi role with fois gras--a delicious combination. We also enjoyed the tacos, empanadas, jalapeño sashimi, and beet salad. Their wine list was quite reasonable, but very limited (maybe 10 choices?) BUT their corkage policy is very generous: buy a bottle down the block at the Bottle Shop and the corkage is waived--otherwise $10. Having said that, the wines on the list were quite good. This is mostly a small plates--sharing type of meal, although they did have a few entree choices. We ate inside--on a lovely evening the outside would be delightful.
