We've been eating here for about 5 years. Recently ownership changed and we've seen slow but steady improvement on the servers appearance and professionalism. The food has always been very good and very nicely priced. My favorite is the salmon bento box, which is available during all hours. I especially like the way the salmon is cooked and the light but tasty seasoning. I also enjoy the chicken pot stickers as an appetizer. Overall, we really enjoy coming here and consider it a great little neighborhood place to go when in the mood for a good variety of Asian meals and sushi

My wife and I eat lunch here relatively often, and dinner once in a while. No ethereal concoctions here, just good, tasty Asian food prepared properly and delivered timely. The sushi and sashimi are my favorites (this place is paired with a Sushi King unit), and my only objection about them is that the pieces tend to be sliced a little too thick for my taste. Fresh, certainly, but a full ounce chunk of tuna atop a rice ball can be hard to take in one bite. My wife finds the Thai and other Asian entrees very tasty as well.

First of all, we didnât even know about this place until friends mentioned it. All of us were very impressed with food quality and great presentation by our Japanese chef, a true magician with his knife skills, speed and onLy satisfied when his customers give him a big smile and ovation...incredible show of entertainment. Portions are very big with only quality ingredients. This will become a regular dinner spot for us!!

The Banana Leaf closed a few months ago as the former owners retired and moved to California. The Kyoto has been open for about a month so we decided to try it on a Saturday night for dinner. There is ample free off-street parking, but the location is hard to find as you need to get into their lot using High Resort Dr.The restaurant was about 30% full when we arrived and we were greeted warmly as we were seated in a booth. The interior decor is almost exactly as it was for the Banana Leaf. Some of the former Banana Leaf entrees can be found on the Kyoto menu, but the majority of the items are Thai, Chinese, Japanese and Sushi. Note that the Kyoto has applied for a liquor license which is expected in December. The three of us ordered hibachi dinners - chicken , shrimp and steak and scallops. We had the crab Rangoon as an appetizer. All of the food items were served promptly and tasted great. None of us could finish our dinners so we had some take home for lunch the next day.Our only complaint was that the menu items were priced a bit on the high side. However we plan to visit again to try some of their other entrees. Finally, the Kyoto offers both takeout and delivery

We were searching for an alternative to New Mexico cuisine just for an evening out. The problem was ours I ordered fried rice it was greasy and awful. I ordered fried rice in a Sushi/Japanese restaurant The service was ok the server congenial when I did not eat the fried rice and informed the server of its overly greasy status he did not offer another dish, take the fried rice away or attempt to resolve. I chalked it up to inexperience. As it was Friday night they were busy and probably did not need my business which they wonât get again.

We had a women's weekend getaway, and were all waning sushi, so decided to give Sushi King a try. There is a reason this place is called the Sushi King...it was AWESOME!We tried 3 different rolls, and decided to share. I had the Grinch, my friends had the Happy, and the Lucky. My favorite was the Grinch. I didn't like the idea of fish eggs on top of my rolls, but decided to try it anyway....YUMMO!The waitress was very helpful in helping us select our rolls, since us country folks are usually just a California roll or spicy tuna roll. I would recommend this place to any and everyone who wants a GOOD SUSHI EXPIERIENCE!!!
This small tucked away restaurant produces unbelievable broth! The menu is not extensive, except for the sushi offerings. So I try different items when I go. Last night it was the udon noodles with a side of shrimp tempura. The broth was rich and complex, the thick noodles just at al dente, incredibly flavorful. The tempura was light and crispy; however no tempura sauce was served. My husband ordered the bento box with the fried pork cutlet that was tender as could be. Very satisfying meal for not a lot of money.
