Toretore-ya kaiten sushi (conveyor sushi) restaurant is located on the west bank of the Ina-gawa River in the Nishi Tada region of the city of Kawanishi. It’s right next to the Uniqlo Tada Branch. It is a part of the Otowa Sushi Restaurant chain that is well-established in the Osaka region for many years for their sushi home delivery service. This Nishi Tada operation is a medium sized kaiten suhi restaurant and is almost always crowded with local families. A wait of more than 15 to 20 minutes is quite normal, unfortunately. Wait could be a little shorter if you don’t mind to be seated at sushi bar seat, instead of booth. Upon arrival at the restaurant, you are expected to put your name and the number of your party on the “seat/table request” form at the entrance. A server will call your name when seats are available.Their sushi selection is quite good. You can find many seasonal and daily catches clearly displayed on the menu board, but all in the Japanese language.Although many sushi dishes are on the belt conveyer and usually quite fresh, some unpopular ones could be dried up and stale. So it’s highly recommended to use a menu (again in Japanese only) and order fresh ones from one of the sushi chefs near you.
