If you live anywhere near Mukilteo and love authentic Japanese food then you need to go to Sakuma. This isn't your American version of a Japanese restaurant, it is the real deal with master chefs preparing sushi, sashimi, tempura and numerous daily specials of the freshest seafood around. Lots of favorites for us but I especially like the Sakuma Special Bento for dinner because it has so many different items avoiding the need to pick just one thing. It's all done perfectly and always brings back fond memories of our time living in Japan. The prices are reasonable and the staff extremely efficient and friendly. Go there. I know you'll end up making it a regular stop like we do (and we live no where near Mukilteo.)

This restaurant is situated amongst a number of other establishments, a few of which are restaurants, on the northwest side of the busy corner of 112th and Evergreen Way. The restaurant basically faces south, thus someone traveling south would have to look over their right shoulder to see this place.Inside, ample seating for a lunch crowd, tall ceilings with a little bit of environment with lower lighting levels and décor. I was seated quickly, my order taken, and the food arrived in a short time.Few restaurants of this type seem to have a salmon bento, but this is one of them. However, one has to add their own California rolls to make it âcompleteâ in this dinerâs opinion (to make it the equal of the first two places I had salmon bento)! My discerning (for this type of food) palate was very happy with the quality and quantity of food here and, if you like this kind of food, would recommend that you try it out!

One of my favorite places for lunch but just as good for dinner. I usually have the lunch bento and have never been disappointed. the Sushi Chef is top notch and never disappoints. The wait staff are very friendly and efficient.

Sushi Zen provides all of our Bento Boxes for my Japanese owned company - the food is amazing and our Japanese customers always compliment the food. Sushi is fantastic and service is very good.
One of MANY teriyaki places in the Pacific Northwest. This is our go-to place as it is close to work, has good food, adequate customer service, and a typical menu of such places. They give you a lot of food so a lunch order can last you 2 lunches. You also get free soup (self-served) and water/hot tea if you're eating in. Even if you're ordering out, you can get the soup while waiting. Their combinations are a good deal as you're going to get more variety for a small price.
