Ok. Last two previous visits, I was very disappointed. I decided to do delivery because of the weather. After ordering online using BeyondMenu website. After 40 min passed, I called the restaurant. After waiting on the phone for 5 min. I'm told "the system was broken and is fixed." Offered to deliver in 30 min. Decided to drive & pick it up. Only good thing out of all of this. The food was amazing. Will order again but not on website.

This restaurant has a nice Asian/modern ambiance. The food is good but not amazing. The bento boxes offer the most variety for the price. I was not thrill with Hubbie's tiny and yet pricey specialty roll. (One is just not enough for dinner.) The Udon also had little topping.

My husband and I stopped by to grab early dinner. I tried the Snow Crab and Queen rolls. Everything tasted fresh and was expertly rolled. We both enjoyed an array of hibachi as well. The cheesecake/ poundcake is delicious. Service is great and family oriented.

The restaurant is located in a shopping center and is set back off the road (behind Capital Ale House). My family took me to Katana for dinner on a Tuesday night when I was visiting from out of state. They weren't crowded at that time and we were seated right away. The ambiance is casual and quiet- good for conversation. There is a small bar and also some televisions. Our server was friendly and attentive. Their menu is extensive and more than just sushi, offering other dishes such as bento boxes and teriyaki as well. The prices seemed a bit higher than average, but when the food arrived the portions were very generous. Everything was served with edamame, soup, green salad, and crab puffs. Fresh and delicious! It was easy to see why this restaurant is one of my family's favorites.

It has been 2 years since my last trip to Richmond. My first of many stops was to Hiro Sushi. Just like I remembered, the sushi was fresh, restaurant clean and service prompt and friendly. I will be back again, prior to leaving for home. If you like sushi or Asian food, I highly recommend Hiro!

Visited here to celebrate my Mom's birthday and we had others at our table as well which was fine except that many of us order the Filet and I ordered the Filet with a side of Filet. Well when the chef cooked the steak he chopped it all up and cooked it together then divided it up amongst us all, but I wasn't given a fair portion for having paid $45 for 2 steaks, we had to take steak away from the other party so they got shorted. In my opinion this is a bad way to handle a customers food; when I mentioned it to the manager she said that's normal and the chefs are trained to assure each person hot the same serving ( that's the issue since I paid for extra steak). Then the waitress wanted to go get the chef and bring him over to see what he had to say about it, so let's go through a nice confrontational experience not the best way to handle something. The final knock on the experience was that most of the steaks were ordered medium, not medium well, not well done.. 1 steak was ordered medium well and it went on grill last and came off first, 1 steak was well done and it went on 2nd to last and came off second after the supposedly Medium steaks. Most of our party said their steak was overcooked.

love sushi! favorite places had recently closed and was looking for a new sushi spot. had never tried sushi o. hostess was extremely nice. restaurant was very clean. ordered the crispy honey chicken and it was fantastic. also ordered 3 different sushi rolls. rolls were small, price was high, and flavor was not there.

Had seen it, wondered what it was like, so, stopped in to give it a try, glad we did. The food and service were excellent -- kinda Asian seafood fusion. Reasonable prices and good selection of local beer. Strip shopping center location, lack a little on atmosphere/decor/ambiance.

Well, the food is still great! The wine list has improved! The service continues to be good. So why is it that when I call and reserve a certain booth or table there is a problem? Three times in the past two months we have arrived and our reserved table has been given away by the manager? We get free appetizers in lieu but we reserved the specific booth for a reason. How expensive can it be to get a plastic reserved sign so this type of mistake does not happen? This place can do better. That really puts a bad taste in the customers mouth to watch their reserved table given away right in front of them.Ronf856,We we truly sorry for the confusion regarding your booth request for your table. Our manager and our entire team always endeavor to give our valued guests like yourselves EXACTLY what they expect then more. It was simply some confusion on the day of your reservation and other guests having similar requests that made it difficult for us to get you exactly what you wanted. We did send out the apps in lieu of that but we understand that that doesnât make it perfectly better. We assure you in the future we will do everything we can possible to ensure your needs are met and then exceeded! Do NOT give up on Wild Ginger.
