Went here recently with a friend and sat at the Sushi Bar. Our server behind the sushi bar was Danny. This guys makes amazing creations. Looking into the showcase of sushi everything is fresh and looks fantastic. The service is good and it is comfortable inside. there is plenty of Parking in the back if the Main street is crowded. This will soon be known as restaurant row.

Blue Finn has been serving Asian cuisine for many years. The evening we went for dinner the restaurant was very quiet. It was us and another party. We did observe a good take out clientele. There were several customers that arrived at the restaurant and took the order with them. By the time we left the restaurant, the dining crowd started to arrive. The restaurant is nicely decorated and quit spacious. The tables are situated with ample room between them. The restaurant is very clean. The menu has a large selection of entrees and sushi. There is a sushi menu and entree menu and the sushi specials menu. Also, there is a large selection of beers on tap. The restaurant has an unusual group of sushi in addition to its regular sushi menu. We decided to order a chicken cordon bleu sushi roll as an appetizer. There are other unusual and creative sushi. The roll was very good. Soup or salad comes with the entrees. We ordered the miso soup which was also very good. For entrees we ordered the wok seared sea scallops and stuffed shrimp with tomato and Thai basil. The second entree was glass noodles with stir fried beef, chicken, spinach, and curly carrots. Both entrees were very good. When using the shiny chopsticks provided by the Blue Finn, eating the glass noodles could be a challenge for inexperienced dinners using chop sticks. The glass noodle entree was plentiful. The scallop and shrimp entree, while tasting very good, might not be sufficient for a hearty dinner. Regardless, we enjoyed both entrees. Our servers were excellent. We had a trainee with the regular server. Both performed well. They were attentive, pleasant, informative, and efficient. It seems the sushi bar might have a good selection for an evening meal or lunch. We intend to return to Blue Finn to sample the lunch sushi bar specials and to enjoy an evening meal.

Locals who frequent this restaurant recommended that if we were fortunate enough to be in Middletown on a Sunday we should join them for the all you can eat Asian meal. I have attached a picture of the all you can eat special menu and for $18.99 a person it is worth it. Rules are clearly stated on the wall and on the menu so please be a polite customer and follow these rules it benefits all of us. For example, no sharing for those who are not having the all you can eat and consume what you order in the restaurant.I have included below a picture of the menu so you can see how extensive it is; hot cooked Thai Chinese and Japanese foods were available as well as sushi and sashimi. The sushi tasted fresh and delicious I especially enjoyed the white tuna it was creamy sweet and the sushi rice was perfectly cooked. Generous Inventive sushi rolls like Fuji Yama which was a pepper tuna and avocado topped with spicy tuna crunch Masago and wasabi mayo. Beer, wine, hot and cold sake, tea and a variety of beverages were available for purchase.Charlie our server was efficient and all staff were friendly and working hard to please their customers.

Good Chinese restaurants are getting harder and harder to find in the Hudson Valley. To wit - You You was another disappointment. Not sure why this place is so popular, as the food is just "okay", the service is only fair and nothing stands out as special.

Have had before with good results. Not this time. Server asks, âany food allergiesâ. We reply, âyes - to shrimpâ. Got shrimp on the plate not once, but also again on the âre-firesâ. We asked to hold the hibachi dinners until after our sushi appetizers. Nope! The sushi hit the table and moments later - boom! The rest of our food arrives. We said NO - and off it went - to the heat lamps, to try to serve it again. We said No! Three times to shrimp and old, cold meals. The manager arrives and promises us fresh dinners and a comp on one of the meals - very fair. She had a lot of excuses for all the mishaps. We got our ânewâ meals and realized it was still our old meals, cooked more. Salmon was burnt, chicken was cooked to hard pellets, even the yum yum sauce was curdled. Also, had to ask repeatedly for refills. Apparently, our server felt he was finished anyway. Done and done! Never again!

We enjoy the high quality sushi served here, presentation being excellent and enticing. They make every kind of fresh sushi and never rush you as you savor it all. Our server answered all our questions, making sure we understood the subtle differences between various rolls. The setting was charming as well.
