Wasabi opened in January, 2011. It has both a sushi bar and a menu.
SAD! We've been coming here for years, eat in or take out. Even though it was a bit spendy overall, the quality was always worth it. Not anymore! Tonight we ordered Pad Thai, Chow Mein and Tofu w/Veggies---all the noodles were incredibly soggy and the broccoli was mush. Flavors of the sauces were off and there was no flavor in the Tofu dish. The Cali Rolls were fine and the Miso Soup was good. We asked the waitress if there were new owners and she said no but the cook was new (according to many other Yelp reviews the owners are new). She did offer to make something else but we declined. Wish I would have read the latest reviews before spending $57 and then needing to go get some fast food after as we couldn't finish our dinners. :(

The best buffet in Spokane, serving pan-Asian cuisine. Good food, exquisite facilities, private room available, family friendly.
We went there last Sunday and the food was very old + cold so I talk to them about it because we paid a lot of money but no one care very very bad experiences..

Decent place. Perhaps a little too quiet and somber for me when we went, but the food more than made up for it. Their menu is definitely a mix of Asian fare, with Japanese, Korean, and a few typical Chinese dishes thrown in for good measure. Judging how they did with Korean, I would have no problem trying their other styles of cuisine. They did have Ja Ja Myun (black bean paste over noodle), which was a favorite of mine the year I spent in Korea, and something I rarely see on other menus around town. It's considered the national 'peasant' dish on the Peninsula, and I was once told by a nice, old Agima over there that it could be likened to our mac & cheese in Western culture. It was delicious and filling. The Bulgogi here was excellent, and both my wife and I very much liked the use of mushrooms in it. Ban Chan accompaniments were fresh and flavorful. Our server was very sweet. Not the most attentive, but we were in no rush, so that wasn't an issue. Pipe in a little ambient, Asian background music, and I'd have no problem trying more things on the menu here...

We went here for a birthday visit so we were going adventurous. The list of sushi offerings is extensive. We tried about 10 different rolls and shared them around the table. My son even tried the urchin.I am new to sushi but I liked everything we had and I always enjoy the asian beers. The decor is diner like but the people really are a joy. They want you r ecperience to be memorable and they are very gracious.

Our friends who live in Spokane told us we had to go here while visiting them from Texas and wow! The sushi was incredible as was the atmosphere. Small place - not a lot of seating so be prepared to wait or grab a drink at the nearby German restaurant while you wait. Totally worth the wait!!! Make sure to order an avocado boat and seaweed salad too!
