We did not have a reservation and took a ticket on arrival. Only had to wait 15 minutes. The ticket system and the order system are both available in English which was helpful for us. The value for money is excellent and the quality is pretty good too. The staff were helpful so would definitely return.

松江駅からタクシーで10分ちょっと､1300円程度で行ける寿司屋。それも、松江・出雲圏域にはめずらしい江戸前寿司屋。古ぼけた建物の内部は狭い。店内はカウンター5席にテーブル４席のみ。いったい大丈夫かいなと思ってしまうが、寿司はすごい。事前予約5000円で全11カン。１カンは少なめで､11カンで満腹になることはまずない。ともあれ、圧倒的なのは素材。イカは塩、ヒラマサはコンブと合わせてときて、イサキは炙り。途中に島根和牛まで供される。アナゴもおいしく、いったい何がメインになるのかと思っていると、９カン目に宍道湖産天然ウナギときた。訊けば、１キロ近いサイズのものであり、松江の市場価格にして１キロ＝１万5000円以上で取引されている逸物だ。ほんの一口だが、宍道湖最高峰の味を経験することとなった。このあと、玉子焼きにカンピョウ巻きで〆となったが、途中のアジもうまい。クルマエビは上物であった。ウニは北海道産。こうしてコースをひととおり終えたあとは、ちょこちょこと安物を食うことに。この時期のアジは、安定してうまい。酒は、東出雲の王祿のみ。プレミアのつく日本酒が、なぜかこの店にはあった。たしかに江戸前寿司としては、東京の名店と比べては劣ると思う。でも、山陰の江戸前寿司として見るなら、最高レベルにあるのではないか。寿司屋としても、松江市内では呉竹鮨と方向性は違えど、双璧かなと思う。

It's not open every day and sometimes it's closed on wednesdays or on regular thursdays, but it's THE place to try the old Matsue dishes at really unbeatable price. We followed some locals into this small restaurant and were treated really friendly. Good food.

The place was quite small, with around 5 people on the bar and 2 tables (for 6 people) each. The chef was behind the sushi counter preparing all food, all menu in Japanese, but it was pretty simple to order. Either Kaisendon (premium & normal), Nigiri Sushi, and drinks. They always ask you for the drink prior to food. We ordered the Premium Kaisendon, and it was a hearthy meal, very delicious. The chef include some local ingredients too. Another dish that must be ordered is the Shijimi Miso Soup, after you drink the soup, you will feel like you are having a vacation under the sea.

何か今夜は気持ち的に寿司を食べたくて最初の所が混んでいたので十数年振りに来ました。こちらも混んでいましたが一人だけだったので待つことなく入れました。ここもネタが新鮮で安くて美味しいです。

評価の高いこちらのお店に行ってきました。ホテルの方に直前でも電話はしたほうが良いといわれ、念のため電話。予約が7時から入っているのでそれまでであれば大丈夫とのことで５時に来店。予約をせずに来ている方おられましたが、みな断られていました。　内容は最高でした。おまかせで5000円ぐらいでお願いしたいと言ったところお任せは4000円なのでそれに、気に入ったものを後から頼まれては？と提案があり、その通りに。おまかせの内容は、越前ガニ？松葉ガニ？と、のどぐろ二貫、たい、いか、ボタンエビ、北海道のウニ、いくらでした。あとはシジミのお味噌汁。最高だったのはやはりのどぐろ！そして、シジミのお味噌汁！今まで、粉末状のシジミのお味噌汁しか飲んだことなかったのですが、全然違います！これは絶対に飲んでいただきたいです。あとは好きなもので地元のうにとクエ、バイ貝を頼んでしめて5000円でした。お酒は隠岐の島のお酒がとても美味しかったです。ここは、機会があれば絶対にもう一回行きたいお店です。
