A lively, small sushi restaurant in a rather dull main street in Rutherford.I was surprised to find such a great sushi place by coincidence. The SERVICE: Quick and polite. The FOOD: We shared three rolls - Volcano, Tataki and Banzai. All come fresh and with plenty of "stuffing" - meaning not only rice and very little salmon, shrimp or crab. The card offer a lot of variety. Only minus was that I had to drink Pepsi and not Sake as I was driving.OVERALL: We will be back, hopefully not driving next time so I can enjoy some sake to accompany the delicious dishes. My warmest recommendations to this new favourite

We visited this restaurant on Saturday night. It is a small storefront restaurant, but with a good number of tables. It is painted and decorated in a tasteful, welcoming way. They have a lot of take out and delivery business, but there were also a steady flow of sit down customers. We sat down and were given a bowl of the crispy noodles and duck sauce to dip. They were delicious and not greasy. Our party ordered pork fried rice, shrimp fried rice, shrimp lo mein and chicken with broccoli. We all tried each otherâs dishes. The fried rice dishes were spiced perfectly with no greasiness at all. The lo mein was delicious and the flavor was amazing. The chicken and broccoli was honestly the best we have ever tasted. Prices are reasonable and portions are huge. Our waitress was attentive. Service was fast. What a wonderful find!
Okay we were in town for a couple of nights and decided to get sushi for lunch before a early dinner. What a great choice and timing was amazing too since it began to get filled shortly before we left. Very friendly and attentive staff sushi was good and never had sushi with salsa but wasnt disappointed at all. We ate a Mexican Roll and Black Dragon Roll w/ a side of seaweed salad.. For Lyndhurst Excellent but even in NYC(Manhattan) I would give it "VERY GOOD" Trip advisor rating.

I love coming to the Asian Grille. The food is always consistent and very nicely priced. On Sundays, they have a special Dim Sum menu which has a nice selection but recently several items have not been available so the number of items can't be ordered. We ordered both off the Dim Sum menu and the regular menu having General Tso's Chicken and it was perfectly cooked with a tangy sauce. It was also a nice size portion with rice. Off the Dim Sum menu, we ordered the scallion pancakes, Shu Mai with pork and shrimp, Shrimp Balls and baked roast pork buns all perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The roast pork buns had a nice sweetness to them with every bite. All the Dim Sum is made in house. The service is friendly and attentive but sometimes they rush the food too much even when it is not busy. It is best to order your appetizers and then wait to order your main dish so that you can finish your appetizers in peace.A consistently excellent restaurant.
