Passing through the area and stopped for a quick bite. I was disappointed when we walked in by the atmosphere, which looked like a step above a take out Chinese place. Since we just needed a quick meal, we stayed and were glad we did! The service was excellent and all the food was perfect. I had an avocado salad and the curry with rice and chicken. It tasted more like an Indian dish than Japanese and it was absolutely delicious. It was served fresh and hot. Even the green tea was a nice strong, hot tea. And they gave us a very small cup of a sweet tea after the meal which was also excellent. My husband had a sushi roll which he also said was fabulous. (note: they do not serve raw sushi at this place.) This place gives new meaning to don't judge a book by its cover!

What a great experience! Our party of six (with kids) was seated promptly. The staff was very helpful, very attentive, and very patient. Food was amazing. Sushi and rolls were fresh and flavorful. The shrimp hibachi was outstanding. Great service, great food, great atmosphere! Weâll be back.
