Find out what Sushi restaurants to try in Koh Tao. Drifting serenely in the Gulf of Thailand, the palm-fringed island of Ko Tao takes its name from the abundant sea turtles that reside on its shores. White sand beaches sheltered by steep hills – some only accessible with four-wheel drive vehicles – and 300 days of sun per year invite long afternoons of lounging.

From Gyoza to Oyakodon, Wakame to Edamame and Sushi Sets to Sashimi Sets, Kame serves a slice of Japan. Situated in the center of Sairee, Koh Tao's most popular beach, Kame is open for late-lunch and dinner from 15:00 until 23:00. Taking inspiration from
Nice place for Japanese food. We have been eating here many times and always good. But this time one of the dishes we order was something new in the menu Saru Soba, the cold soup was quite good however the soba itself was way overcooked, so we didnât really eat it. Mentioned to one of the staff but not sure if she understood as there was no apologize but a smile. Overall highly recommended just go for other dishes.

High-quality sushi and great service from Munchies! I'm vegetarian, and they actually have a selection of creative veggie rolls as opposed to just one "de-facto" option! The staff is very open to letting me make substitutes as well (sorry for being "that" person!) The pastas are to die for as well - somehow their avocado pasta is so light but flavourful, it's perfect for a hot day when you need a good meal but without the heaviness you usually get from a pasta dish. Delivery is spot-on as well - food arrives quickly (or if there will be any delay, they're really honest about how long it will take so you can have a snack if you're really peckish - not the standard "15 minutes" that turns into an hour typical around Tao.) Great work guys, keep it up! (And add more veggie Western dishes!)

Ordered sashimi salmon, salmon and avocado roll and Pad Thai which were all nice, however also ordered Prawn Tempura, chicken wings and yellow shrimp curry. The prawns were not tempura but panko bread crumbed. Not crispy and greasy. The chicken wings were really poor, again greasy, tasteless and tiny at the yellow Curry was the worst Iâve tasted in Thailand. I ate the prawns but didnât really enjoy them, didnât eat the wings or curry and they tried to charge us for the food we didnât eat. They took 100 baht off the bill eventually but that didnât cover what the uneaten dishes cost. Disappointing really!

Huge menu, great food and extremely reasonable pricing. This place is a firm favourite with pretty much every person you speak to in Koh Tao.Very good selection of Sushi. Yellow Noodles were a personal favourite of mine. The staff were attentive, polite and generally faultless. Alcoholic drinks were also of a high standard. A must visit if youâre hungry in Koh Tao!
