Been open for at least a couple of years.
I eat a lot of Asian food, and this is the worst I've had in a long time. The fish wasn't fresh, the noodles were reheated, and the prices were not low. I vastly preferred Izumi, hitch is just across the freeway. I won't come back to Ken Zaburo.

We decided to go outside of our usual Sushi place and try something new. We were delighted to see it located in a very nice plaza setting. The prices were higher than most other sushi places but they did carry a lot of different choices. Overall good place on the east side to meet friends and have a great time.

Momoya is a very small family owned and run sushi restaurant.Dad is the sushi chef and adult children have various roles and responsibilities. Our favorite roll is the Lobster Roll. When they have Hamachi Belly it is worth ordering. If you order take out, order before 6:30p as I find that ordering after 6:30 doubles the wait time from 25 to 50 minutes without notifying us. One more point to note: when they take a vacation or decide to close, you are at the mercy of a ringing phone number. You hope they will return and they do. But it is a bit concerning when you call and there is no answer. Over time I have learned, they will be back the following week.

We really enjoyed this little sushi place. No reservations, so we were waiting in line for a good 20 minutes, but it was worth it! My husband had the chirashi bowl and I had yellowtail and green onion maki as well as a salmon king roll. Our friends had the poke bowl and udon noodles, and all of it was very good. The tea was prompt and hot, and despite how busy the restaurant was we got refills whenever we needed it. It was a busy place but highly delicious and the waitstaff were great. We were a little late getting our bills, but that and the wait at the beginning were the only issues, and they were minor. I highly recommend this place, especially for the sushi!

Had a nice nigiri sampler tonight. Every cut was delicious and service spot on. If you want to try some traditional dishes, this is definitely the place to go. Prices are highish, but well worth it. A must if you are in the area.
