Asian Fusion Cafe offers a variety of the best Asian Cuisine from Sushi, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese and Korean Cuisine.
Asian Fusion Cafe serves various Asian cuisines, but it seems to have a Southeast twist. Our party included my family (all Korean), a native Chinese, and an Armenian who is very well versed in Asian cuisine. We ordered a sashimi platter, tempura udon, spring rolls (free with a Yelp check-in), chicken katsu, and Korean short ribs. While I didn't personally eat the sashimi, my friends enjoyed it and it was reasonably priced at $16. The chicken katsu was oddly chopped into bite size pieces. The taste was typical of katsu, so no issues. The short ribs were tasty, but chopped cilantro gave it a Vietnamese flavor to it. A little overpriced at $17. The udon had a strange flavor to the broth and my son noticed it immediately. It tasted more like a Thai soup broth than a typical light soy base that you would expect with udon. This was the worst part of the meal. So we hit on a couple of dishes and missed on a couple. I'd try it again, but as a visitor, I wouldn't go out of my way to find it again.

Being one of my parents favorite spots for sushi I recently met them there for a family dinner and was overall pleased with the experience. The menu selection is actually quite extensive ...they offer not only all the traditional sushi choices but also yakitori(grilled skewers) and a nice selection of Thai dishes too. They lost a star because the tuna tataki which I order often was not as good as others so on future visits I'll refrain from ordering that at Kampai. But everything else was quite good and tasted fresh something that is of the utmost importance when it comes to sushi. I found the service to be very friendly and efficient,we had both our Thai server and a busser visiting the table often making sure our water glasses were filled and empty plates removed. When in the West Miami or Kendall area Kampai should always be considered a good choice for Japanese or Thai.

We have been coming here for years, and while the food was good and our chef Jaime was competent. The management has gone way downhill. The resturant was grossly understaffed and therefore the waiting is not acceptable. It took almost 45 minutes for the first course of soup to come once we had been sitted. Again the food was good, however I don't consider onions and a few pieces of zucchini to be "vegetables". The steamed rice I ordered never came, when I mentioned it, the waitress offered me a "free" ice cream, which was included in my meal. A table mate asked for some water and was told by a busboy/food runner, go ask your waiter. When I informed the manager instead of apologizing he said well maybe he had dirty hands. For the price and the wait definetly not worth it. Too Bad, it used to be great

Shibui brings authentic Japanese food and atmosphere to Miami! We ordered the fried shrimp gyozas and tsukemono (pickled vegetables) for appetizers, both of which were delicious. The bbq eel, stir fry and ramen were all fantastic. Note that the ramen is vegetarian - no pork and egg - where the pork and egg version is more typical in Japan. It was very tasty and I prefer the vegetarian version. The green iced tea was also really good. The restaurant is its own building, not a strip mall shop, which makes it a bit more special for this area of Miami. The service was excellent. We really liked Shibui and will be going back. Arigatou gozaimas! Enjoy!

We enjoy Lan's under $12 lunch specials, which include a main course (we usually get grilled salmon), served with miso soup, a California roll ($1 extra made with brown rice), mesclun salad and Asian sprout salad. Sometimes the salmon is a bit overcooked and slightly on the dry side, but I love the strip of charred salmon skin they leave on the fish.Service can be spotty. There usually isn't someone assigned exclusively to the register at the entrance or to showing patrons to their tables. Bottlenecks sometimes occur. The restaurant seems understaffed, and the harried servers appear to have multiple--too many?--responsibilities.Lan is known for its popular bubble teas, which come in several flavors. (If you're watching your carbs and/or calories, you might want to steer clear of them, especially the sweet creamy ones made with tapioca pearls. They are delicious, but some could contain more calories than your your lunch or dinner!)

Went with my daughter. I had lots of sushi and some items from the grill. The food was good and the service was good as well. It has lost some of its luster over the past couple of times I have come.

Come and Indulge your senses with our authentic Thai & Sushi dishes - bursting with subtle & complex medley of flavors ranging from sweet, sour to spicy. Wind down & enjoy our selective wines & sake in an eclectic & soothing ambiance.
New management, no Thais in sight. We could not eat any of the three dishes. When queried, I explained that the dishes, while large, were not Thai. I was then informed that they were "Fusion", which must mean that they can use the same overly sweet, overly salty canned brown sauce in two totally different dishes. If this is considered great Thai food to some farang, they are badly misinformed.

Totally lost in a middle of a small shopping mall, between Ace Hardware and a grocery shop, not a place where one would expect to find a top notch, sophisticated, Japanese restaurant - superbe products, fresh fish, both imaginative dishes and traditional fare. Worth a trip for a great diner at a decent price.

Mom and Pop eatery providing exceptional quality on the entire menu. Have been serving the neighborhood since January 8, 1996. Meals are cooked to order. The ambiance is nautical and relaxed. There is a music venue where Live Jazz and Blues is celebrated
I went for the .50 oysters during happy hour. I have to say they were big and tasted good. There are other happy hour items that were mostly beers and wine but oysters were on point.Glad you enjoyed yourself. Thank you for stopping by to write us up. Come back soon, Angela
