I wad there with kids. I heard and read it is a very good place... Well it is average.1.service fast but wouldn't call it friendly2. Average to expensive. Fine but for pretty bad place u would expect average.3. Food. I read it is excellent. Well perhaps if u consider low quality around but if u ever ate good sushi it is average. Well I was happy with seaweed salad. It was great. I was very disappointed with eel.
The restaurant is new and is very attractive both outside and inside; the hostess was very pleasant as was our waitress. That's about it. First, the owner or manager (at least that's what he looked to be), was having a shouting match with an employee during our entire meal. Not pleasant. Second, the food was inedible. Cold food was hot (sushi) and hot food was cold and hard. The selection was good, but if you can't eat it, what's the point? Finally, we came in during lunch hours, but was charged for dinner. We just wanted to leave, so we didn't argue about it.Avoid!

The food was excellent. We were there on lunch, so there wasn't much of a Hibachi show, which is normal for those crowded times. We also waited 20 minutes for each beverage refill, the waiter would simply disappear. Will be back for the food, hope the service gets better.

Our party of 6 adults ended up here after our first-choice restaurant turned out to be closed on Sunday night. Collectively we had the chicken, scallop, shrimp, salmon and beef hibachi dinners (which came with miso soup and salads). Additionally, for appetizers we had edamame, vegetable tempura, and chicken tempura, all of which were very good. I don't regret not going to our first choice restaurant. There were few other diners, so I don't know what things would be like at a busy time, but our service was good. The portions of the hibachi dinners were substantial, and I think everyone took home a box of leftovers. The fried rice, the veggies, and the meat were all quite good. On the other hand, I was not even tempted to try the miso soup, and those of our party who did try it found it not to be tasty. I believe the salad was nothing except some iceberg lettuce with dressing on it. It was OK, but just a couple of additions to it would certainly have taken it up a notch. The prices were very reasonable, and we all enjoyed our meals, the soup and salad notwithstanding.

Havenât been here in over a year. Decided to try something new on the menu other than just sushi. Ordered the crabmeat tempura bento box. It came with miso soup, salad with ginger dressing, two pieces of gyoza, California roll, fried rice, tempura vegetables and 3 big fried crab sticks. I know....thatâs a lot! I enjoyed everything that came except for the main dish itself. The crab sticks were fried a little too hard to my liking. Good flavor....just over-fried. The California roll also didnât taste the freshest but thatâs ok because Iâm not a huge fan of that roll and there are no substitutes allowed on the roll. Service was great. My server, Marissa, was brand new but did an outstanding job in waiting on me. Actually I liked the fact that I asked a different server for a fork and instead of waiting for my server, she brought it herself. Iâve read reviews where service has been bad or rude here but that has yet to be my experience.

56564 Sakura Bana is your destination for the freshest, most delicious sushi in town! We are now located at 4800 N Hwy 55 Suite 11 in Jackson, MS
We eagerly anticipated our visit to Sakura Bana after several long-time Jacksonians encouraged us to try the Jackson âInsider placeâ for Sushi. We ordered several rolls with different types of fish, so our selections were diverse, but utterly devoid of flavor. If 2.5 was an option, that would be my rating.

Surin of Thailand has been serving authentic Thai cuisine to the people of Jackson since 2015. Our master chefs hand select only the freshest local vegetables & meats and import select Thai ingredients to make incredible Thai dishes. Our Thai menu is coup
My sister-in-law told me about this place, so I decided to take my husband there for his birthday. The ambience is cozy and romantic. It is very clean. I had the chicken shrimp Thai noodles (there were only 2 shrimp, I wish there were 4 more) my husband and I split the coconut and shrimp soup (there were 8 shrimp and it was good enough to lick the bowl clean), and he had the ribeye steak (it was cooked to perfection, whatâs left pic below lol). The taste of everything was to my liking, the presentation was pleasing, and the noodles were more than enough to fill me up and bring some home. This is going to be my new favorite restaurant. I forgot to take before pictures. I also had a peach martini, it was a bit bitter, a little shot of sprit would have countered the bitter and sweetened it a bit.
