As for me this is a strange place from the very beginning. All YOU CAN EAT formula is available only on particular days at particular hours and can be booked through FACEBOOK only. Space wise the table we were put at (right by the kitchen) was really small = hard to come in and out even if you are not tall. Sashimi (raw fish) can be ordered twice by each person so as tartars. And that is really ANNOYING! Most of the items on the menu include fried stuff which personally I donât fancy at all. I am an experienced sushi eater and this place is NOT for me. Sorry canât rate this restaurant even as âvery goodâ. Was just OK! The fact that you MUST eat your dinner during some window hours is rather inconvenient. Sounds like âpound ur food down and get the heck out of hereâ! Do NOT recommend.

Non sono molto soddisfatto di questa esperienza... a partire dagli impiattamenti poco gradevoli allavista e soprattutto la lentezza del servizio nonostante ci fossero pochi tavoli occupati! in compenso il cameriere eâ stato molto cortese.

Sãomaki is a sushi fusion restaurant, located in the heart of the historic centre of, in Campania, where the encounter between Japanese tradition and Latin American creativity is manifested in every detail. It offers a harmonious kitchen that mixes fresh
We were pleasantly surprised by our visit to SãoMaki. The environment was a good synthesis of Brazilian "boteco" decorations and Japanese re-styled apparels and graphics. Service was warm and competent and gave us a good overview of plates that surprised us for creativity even being acquainted with several Japanese restaurants in SãoPaolo (I appreciate this formula is meant to be different from Japanese restaurants and surprise with a creative menu that blends Brazilian ingredients and typical staple food, such as tapioca, with fish prepared in a Japanese fashion). Salmon teriyaki was well cooked with a nice sauce, sushis included some prepared on a tapioca base as opposed to rice, bolinho de bacalhau (typical Brazilian salted-cod fritters) were top notch, as well as the yakisoba. We did not try picanha which seemed to be popular in the restaurant. Needless to say drinks include a good selection of caipirinhas. Everything showed very good value for money (definitely a five in this category). The crowd was largely local. We had a large family table with three generations at the table and everyone enjoying both the environment and the food. Congrats to the managers for this good blend of traditions. Thank you for your review. You were very precise in the description. We're very happy that your convivial have appreciated. We hope you to come back soon!

...from start to finish.. From the miso soup with a touch of spice and seeweed, at the beginning, to the green tea tiramisu and dessert of the day, at the end, it was a delicious and magnificent gastronomical experience!! Everything looked and tasted so fresh, there was such a subtle and delicate balance of flavors and textures in some dishes and such a perfect symbiosis between Japanese and Neapolitan flavors in some other very original dishes (the tuna tartar with spinach pesto, the green tea tiramisu, among others), the ambiance of casual sophistication, the level of service and attention... all simply outstanding.. And to top it all off, we were blessed with having Jaime as our waiter... The expirience would not have been the same without his knowlegeable and affable attention and spot-on recommendations. Me and my wife dined for â¬90. We had two miso soups, one tuna tartare to share, two small 8-piece sushi roll sets (one spicy tuna roll, and one tempura king prawn and shrimp roll), one beer and one glass of wine, and for dessert, one green tea tiramisu and one "dessert of the day" (almond mousse on top of a very thin layer of light cake, topped with a couple of raspberries and a thin and crispy bitter chocolate layer, accompanied with a tiny piece of japanese plum liquor jelly on one side and lavender cream gelato). Coming from NYC, the price felt more than reasonable.Congratulations and many thanks!
