We have been to Modu Sushi 4x. My boyfriend and I love Sushi and have been to the majority of Sushi restaurants in the capital region. Our first 3 visits to Modu were fantastic. The Sushi is extremely fresh, great portions, reasonably priced, service anf atmosphere great. Went to Modu last night, portions were skimped down, rolls we always get, were 2 pieces shorter. Same price. Same great quality, but size of rolls small. For the same money spent, we left still hungry.I asked our server, why are the portions smaller and she appeared to not notice. We just ate there 3 weeks before, exact same order. She then mentioned that they just hired a new chef. Ah ha!We won't be back, now the portion size is NOT worth the $$. Back to Sushi Na-Ra.A shame the new chef is skimmping on great quality sushi. Loosing our business.

Craving for sushi... satisfied once again at Sushi Na-Ra. Sake to start. Miso soup while watching sushi being plated. Delicious rolls and a few pieces to round off the meal. Nice and friendly service.

My wife and I have been enjoying Dinner since it opened up and Kenny was the Manager as he was always on top of the staff to ensure QUALITY FOOD AND EXCELLENT SERVICE. Unfortunately after Kenny left some of the food has gone downhill as well as the service. On 12/31/18 we went for a late lunch and the place was not crowded so I donât understand why the food was not brought out at the same time which is becoming their trademark as my wife had to wait about 5 minutes for her food after mine was brought out. The waitress brought out soup and salad after we ordered, however the appetizer was brought out far too early. It appears there is no manager there to give anyone direction. When ordering I was specific that I did not want my shrimp over cooked as it had been done a few times before and the shrimp truly did not taste fresh. We have to see if we will return again.

Met up with a group of neighborhood friends for hibachi dinner at Mr. Fuji. It was around 6:00 on a Saturday night and we didn't have reservations but luckily they were able to seat us right away. While we were waiting to the table to fill up and a chef to be free, we relaxed with a trio of Scorpion Bowl for Two.Despite the fact that the only way to enjoy the drink is through a straw (some of us were trying to go straw free for the week) the beverage was just what the doctor ordered! After stuffing my face with fried rice, shrimp, steak and noodles, I went home and tried to relax with my book. Within minutes, my head was nodding and I went to bed. Overall, everything was expected and I thoroughly enjoyed dinner and the free show.

We found the dining room very comfortable and relaxing - a welcoming respite from the nearby interstate. The beef on the kimchi beef appetizer was tender and the spinach and pleasantly hot topping complimented it perfectly. Our Penang curry had lots of good sauce (we needed seconds on the rice to absorb it all) but was a bit light on the veggies. The service started strong, but faltered just a bit as no one checked back with us so getting more rice involved arm waving in a not busy restaurant.
